Many of you have been aware we lost our brother recently.

Jason "Hump" Humphrey was more than that. For many he was our guiding star; a true compass pointing us in the direction of love. He was the man we looked to counsel, for backup, for a steadfast wall to guard us against the crashing waves trying to crush us. He reminded us, alone we were not perfect, but that together, we were closer to perfect than any one man. We are left with a gaping hole that feels as if it will never heal.

To those showering us and his family with love, we are grateful. The flood of love we continue to receive is truly a testimony to the character of the Man we call brother. Coast to coast we have felt the echo of his deeds.

To those who are hurting, we are here. In his honor we will stand against the crashing waves with you, never breaking, never faulting because we know Hump still stands with us. You are never alone!

To our community we ask for prayers. We pray now for the strength and wisdom to live our lives in the way that might warrant a single hug from Hump. We pray for healing.

Brother, you said it's gonna be a cold ride home. We did not know you were headed HOME.

Rest now in peace brother, for we have the watch.

We are absolutely heartbroken to hear the news that Jason Humphrey “Hump” died this morning. He was CVMA State Sergeant at Arms of Colorado and Chapter 3-6. As a combat veteran and former K9 Officer for Adams County he lived a life of service and dedication . He was a wonderful husband, father, son brother and friend. Hump was scheduled to be in our next cohort for service dog training and we all feel the tremendous loss. Our hearts go out to all who know and love him.

We always have a great time with Pipe Hitters Union MC - Bellatorum Chapter and wanted to shine a light on who they are. PHUMC is an International Motorcycle Club consisting of Active/Retired Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, and Government Contractors. These warriors have a passion for serving their community and taking care of veterans and first responders. We are fortunate to partner with them for a 3rd year and be the recipients of $10000 raised from this year’s Glocktoberfest raffle.
