At the end of every inspection, we prioritize accuracy by conducting the light to radiation field alignment test! Using four pennies as our guide, we capture an exposure to ensure that the light field aligns with the radiation field. The radiation should never go beyond the width of a penny, which is 0.8 inches!

Atom Physics is partnering with Project C.U.R.E. to send urgent medical relief to hospitals in Ukraine. Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest supplier of donated medical supplies and equipment to resource-limited countries. The organization is continuing to provide humanitarian support to various partners in Ukraine and will be on standby to assist with further requests they receive for medical supplies and equipment. Since 2000, Project C.U.R.E. has sent 53 C.U.R.E. Cargo shipments to Ukrainian facilities throughout the country and was recognized in 2021 by the National Health Council of Ukraine for the significant contribution to the development of Ukraine through participation in the international humanitarian project “Support Hospitals in Ukraine.” Monetary donations will support emergency relief containers of medical supplies and equipment which are currently being prepared for shipment to recipient facilities in Ukraine. Project C.U.R.E. is also working on several different refugee support possibilities in Moldova, Romania, and Poland. Support this effort at www.projectcure.org.
