🌟 We had an absolutely enchanting day at our preschool today! Our little scientists embarked on a colorful adventure by conducting an amazing rainbow experiment using everyone's favorite treat: M&M's! 🍬💡

🌈 The excitement was palpable as our curious students gathered around the experiment table, eagerly anticipating the magical transformation that was about to unfold. Armed with a pack of M&M's and a plate, they were ready to create their very own edible rainbows. 🌈🌽

💡 Here's how it worked: Each child carefully arranged a circle of M&M's on their plate, starting from the outer edge and moving towards the center. The vibrant colors of the candies resembled the hues of a rainbow, igniting their imaginations and filling the room with joy! 🌈🌟

✨ With bated breath, the children poured a few drops of water into the center of their M&M circle. They watched in awe as the colors on their plates began to blend and spread, creating a mesmerizing display of pigmented magic! The sugar shell of the candies dissolved, leaving trails of vibrant color that formed a magnificent edible rainbow. 🌈🌟🍬

Science Spotlight: Exploring Space, Land, and Sea

Ms Sonia’s group enjoyed exploring the world around them!!! There are three big parts of our world that we're going to focus on: space, land, and sea.

🚀 Space is what we call the area beyond Earth's atmosphere. It's filled with stars, planets, and other objects that are too far away for us to see with our eyes. Scientists use special telescopes to study space and learn more about what's out there. Did you know that there are even astronauts who travel to space and do experiments there?

🌳 🌳 Land is the part of the Earth's surface that we can walk on. It's made up of many different types of environments, like forests, deserts, and mountains. Animals and plants live on the land, and scientists study them to learn more about how they survive and interact with each other.

🌊 The sea is the vast expanse of water that covers most of the Earth's surface. It's home to many different types of creatures, from tiny plankton to massive whales. Scientists study the sea to learn more about how it works and how we can keep it healthy.

✨🌟 So, whether we're looking up at the stars in space, exploring the forests and mountains on land, or diving into the deep blue sea, there's always something amazing to discover and learn about in our world. Science helps us understand and appreciate the beauty and complexity of the world around us!
