Check out our Gifted preschoolers learning about the science of volcanoes! 🔥🌋 We had an exciting and educational lesson where we talked about what volcanoes are and how they work. Our little scientists learned that volcanoes are mountains that can erupt and release hot lava, ash, and gas. We used pictures and videos to help them visualize what volcanoes look like and how they erupt. We also read books and stories about volcanoes to help the children understand the concept in a fun and engaging way. And, we conducted a simple experiment to show how volcanoes work. We made a model volcano using a plastic bottle and demonstrated how lava flows out of the top when baking soda and vinegar are mixed together. We made sure to emphasize the importance of safety around volcanoes, and we reminded the children that they should always follow the advice of trained experts and authorities. Our little scientists had a blast learning about volcanoes, and we can't wait to see what they will learn about next! 🌋🔬 #preschoolscience #volcanoes #hands-onlearning #littlelearners #wearegifted
