"I was raised in the church and was baptized as a child without having fully grasped what it meant to put my faith in God." — Nick Guerrero
Growing up in church does not save someone.
Salvation comes when you fully surrender to Christ and submit to His Lordship over your life.
We're so thankful for your testimony, Nick!

"I believe Jesus came down and died for me and saved to me for my sins." — Allie Terry
Throughout Scripture, we see that simply trusting in Christ and surrendering to him is all it takes to be saved.
It's not based on our good works, but on what Christ accomplished on the cross.

"When I started coming to church at Coggin, it completely changed my relationship with Jesus and my mom could clearly see that, after a while of coming to Coggin, it came to me that getting baptized isn't about being saved. It's about being raised to life." — Maliyah Morgan
Baptism is an outward expression of our spiritual resurrection.
Once you surrender your life to Christ, the punishment of sin and death is broken, and we are raised to new life in Him. We are no longer bound to sin but have the freedom to live a life that honors Christ.
Join us this Sunday in our 11:00 service as our pastor Dr. Todd Gray delivers a message in our series in Romans: The Transforming Gospel, on the importance of Christian love as an outward testimony of the life-changing impact of Christ, and how we can show His love to others through our actions.

"Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire." — Hebrews 12:28-29
We should be so overwhelmed by God's goodness that our natural response is gratitude and worship.
At Coggin, we believe this means more than just worshiping on Sundays. Worship should be a part of our daily lives.
Living a life that brings honor and glory to Christ should be our daily form of worship.
"While going to the gym, a man had offered me a Bible, and a little bit later, a friend had invited me here to Coggin, where I heard the Gospel preached. I prayed and I asked Jesus to come into my life and to save me from my sin. I put my faith in Jesus." — Damon Carillo
You never know what the Lord will use to work in someone else's life. As believers, we are called to be faithful, even in the small things like inviting people to church.
Is there someone you could reach out to today? It may be a seed that the Lord will use to work mightily in that person's life.

Are you struggling to be content with your relationship status?
To find true contentment, you must shift your focus from yourself to the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When we prioritize our desires over what Jesus wants, dissatisfaction creeps in, making life dangerously selfish.
By centering our lives around God's will and holiness instead of our own happiness, we find the deep, lasting joy we've been searching for in Him, not in worldly things or other people.
"What I think God means to me is He is my Father and He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins because we had so many sins." — Natalee Seybert
The only person to ever live a sinless life is Jesus.
It's through His death, burial, and resurrection that we are able to have a relationship with the perfect, holy, and sinless God.
