A midday message…

Hello daughters of the Most High King!
Isn’t it amazing how God works everything for good!
This week I brought a Word for a group of ladies and I’d be fibbing if I said the enemy wasn’t putting thoughts in my head that I was not gonna be able to do it and no one was going to get a breakthrough. In my thoughts, I was like, “I’m gonna have to call my pastor to pray for me. So before we kicked off the devotion, I stepped out to get myself and my thoughts together. I was able to push through without calling and give God’s “Faithfulness Devotional” that He gave me to share. In my obedience and willingness to do this, I received my breakthrough!🙌🏽 Humbly, I’m thankful for the confidence that the Lord has given me through this. Truly, faith without works is dead! I made a choice to put in the work and the time to increase and level up in my faith. He used me to give the word for me! I don’t question His mysterious ways and I love His sense of humor! I leave you with this… take everyday FEARLESSLY because FAITHFULNESS produces more fruit!🙌🏽🔥

There is no chance or sleet or rain, but the temps will get low again tonight with the “feel like” temp getting pretty low. 🥶

So NO midweek bible study/youth tonight. Everyone stay in & warm as your evening permits. Keep the kiddos warm & safe.

My sisters in Christ, if I have learned anything in my walk, it’s that the enemy will use anything to try and bring you down! It can be the simplest thing to try and cause confusion because they have allowed the enemy to use them against you. Staying connected to the vine which is the Word of God will assist you and our advocate, The Holy Spirit will fight for you in your moments of distress. Let that Fruit of The Spirit shine…Self Control🙌🏽🔥

Here's a little devotional I put together with God's Word...

“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. “The Shield of Faith”

Today we take up the shield of faith and in the name of Jesus, we extinguish every dart and arrow by which the enemy would seek to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, or emotionally. Wwe grip it firmly and brace it with our forearm and place it in front of you to block and extinguish the flaming arrows from the evil one.

We shall not waiver or be afraid knowing that we have been strategically equipped by the Lord!

“He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, And under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. You will not be afraid of the terror of night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Lord is with us at all times but you have to seek Him to find Him. Remember, the Lord is not a forceful. He give us a choice and it is up to us. It’s part of His perfect will. He wants us to rely totally on Him and though the process we gain wisdom.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When we totally surrender to the Lord, he protects us and our children. The same way He gifted us with the Holy Spirit as our advocate, is the same we are our children’s advocate when we are equipped with the Armor of God. We have a duty as parents and we must protect and pray for them! They will know the Lord and follow what we do to honor the Lord.

“Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22‬:‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The Breastplate of Righteousness”

Another piece of armor to wear for spiritual battle. It protects our vital organs spiritually when we enter the battlefield as satan attempts to pierce our most vulnerable areas.
When we continually put on the breastplate of righteousness, we secure it with the belt of truth to keep it in place. We are able to combat against the schemes that Satan has set up for us to attempt to pull us away from right living in God’s eyes.

Also, when we use the breastplate of righteousness we must first come to accept and understand that righteousness doesn’t come from good works. It doesn’t matter how often we attend church or how much community service we do or how often we read the Bible, if we don’t apply it to our lives and walk the path that God has set before us, our good works have no value.

“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭64‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Once we are saved, God gives us the Holy Spirit to steer us away from sin and to righteousness.

“In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words. And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of God’s people in accordance with God’s will.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The Helmet of Salvation”

The battle begins in our mind. To be alive in life, we must protect ourselves and stay focused on the things that give us life! As we arm ourselves with the helmet armor, we are protecting our new mind in Christ against the traps of the enemy!
To wear the helmet of salvation means to live every day focused on eternity and the promised future we have. It changes the way we live. Salvation is a protection that can only come from the Lord. Christ protects not just our heads but our entire spiritual being.

The helmet gives us hope! With this piece protecting our thoughts, our faith increases.

“But since we [believers] belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope and confident assurance of salvation.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This vital piece allows us to focus on the things of God.

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The Belt of Truth”
Wear it firmly around your waist and ready to discern what is of God and what is not. When you live by the truth you come to the light and it can be seen plainly that what you do is done through God.

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.””
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Think about who God is and how God cares for you. He allows us to go through things to build character and remove what is not of God. It’s a process that everyone experiences when we submit whole heartedly to the Lord. It doesn’t feel good sometimes but the reward of eternal life is great! Some experiences are amazing and makes us feel amazing. Whatever the experience, it is a life lesson.

“Whoever is of God and belongs to Him hears [the truth of] God’s words; for this reason you do not hear them: because you are not of God and you are not in fellowship with Him.””
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭47‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The Gospel of Peace Shoes”

Stand ready and with a purpose!
To start, we must understand what the gospel of peace is. The word “gospel” means “good news,” referring to the sacrifice Jesus made for us so that we can be saved. As a result, this brings us peace.
Having our feet fitted with the shoes of the gospel of peace allows us to be ready to share God with others at all times. As Christians, we should always be prepared, as we never know when an opportunity may arise to share the good news of the gospel with someone else.

“and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

These aren’t just any shoes. They are battle shoes! Historically, the Romans wore them to march and maneuver strategically in rough terrain during battle. In the same way, having hope in Jesus helps us walk through the trials we face.

“The Sword of The Spirit”
A piece of God’s Armor that He has given us to equip ourselves for battle in the spiritual aspect of our lives. Whether you’re a new believer in Christ or have believed for years, the battles are fought the same through the Word of God!
Dust your swords off! Open that bible and slay the works of the enemy with the word of God! The Lord has equipped us to be able to overcome the demonic intelligence.
“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Bible tells us in the book of Luke that we have the authority!
“The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Demons are no match for the Power of Jesus! He is greater and above all things!
“You believe that God is one; you do well [to believe that]. The demons also believe [that], and shudder and bristle [in awe-filled terror—they have seen His wrath]!”
‭‭James‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Just do it….You have a lot to gain!!
The Lord already knows everything that you’ve done, everything that you’ve spoken and everything you’ve thought. He’s just waiting for you to surrender these things to Him and ask for forgiveness and wants you to live a righteous life in His will.
Let’s not miss out on the many blessings He has for us!

Lord, I pray for the wisdom and preparedness of the many seasons in our lives. I lift each individual that reads this prayer today to open the eyes of their hearts Lord! Whatever season we find ourselves in Father, that we possess the understanding that you are in the midst of every event in our lives. I pray that we continuously seek You, find You and rest in You Lord. Your plan is bigger and greater than any plan Father! We give You honor and glory for the seasons that come to test us, teach us and refine us. I pray that we remain humble and stand firm on your Holy Word with strength and tanacity. Let us be of sound mind and remember that You are in control of everything Lord and in that we find hope. As the seasons in our lives change I pray that you give us the courage to adapt and give us the strength to persevere with thanksgiving through it all. We thank you Lord and give you all the honor and glory, in Jesus’ name, Amen!🙌🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥

Praying over my sisters.... Lord l come to you and lift each of my sisters to you Father. Have your way! I pray for a hunger and a more intimate relationship with you Lord. Father you are in control of all things and I pray that my sisters invite your Holy Spirit in to manifest a desire for you and your people. Each woman here plays a a special part in your perfect will. I pray that they ask you what their purpose is and begin to be the hands and feet for Christ. We no longer want to be the sleepers Father. We want to position ourselves to do your will Lord! Cover us Lord, protect us and give us the strength to stand and rely on your word! Father I pray for the spirit of discernment to block the works and schemes of the enemy! May our eyes be open and our spirits on guard! Lord you have already equipped us with the Armor of God and given us the authority and power to be victorious against the principalities that come against us in the spiritual realm. We belong to you Lord and we pray in agreement and ask all these things in the name Jesus, Amen!

This is such a powerful verse! It reminds us of how Jesus gave His life for all of us to have eternal life!
He still gives us so much like Grace, Mercy, Joy, Peace, Unconditional Love, Authority, Power of Discernment, Strength, Wisdom….etc
All glory and honor to Him for the compassion for us! It’s so beautiful and humbling.

My reading today turned into a powerful message for me that I had to share with you. Each of us plays a special part in the body. God strategically and specifically puts things in our hearts and minds for His divine purpose! The work for the Kingdom goes above and beyond the four walls of a church. My sisters and brothers in Christ we are the church! Don’t allow discouragement of anyone to hold you down! I encourage you to go out and reach a soul and connect with them! God has already approved this message! I am just here as an obedient servant to encourage you!

“And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct],”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In the new Covenant based priesthood, all believers are now priests. We serve under the Lord Jesus Christ, our High Priest. He has given us a duty to fulfill as believers to bring more souls to know Him.

“Therefore then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior]. For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].”

EVERY Christian has the responsibility and privilege to minister in His name! Stand firm on The Lord’s every Word. He believes in you and Loves you more than you love yourself! You are an heir to His Kingdom! Pray and worship consistently and daily; make them a habit and watch God move! He will do it!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
