P'Khan's Valentine final design! We're going to be 3D printing flexi dinosaurs that I'll hang from keychains and then use glue dots to attach them to cardstock. I'm trying to decide if I want to do them in different colors so the kids can swap with each other for a favorite color or just do them all in black so they match the Jurassic Park logo.

Much love and new found appreciation for all you deco mesh wreath makers out there. I now fully understand why all the YouTube tutorials suggest using chenille stems instead of wire. Silly me figured "Hey, I make wire work jewelry, how hard can it be?" VERY. HARD.

This was part of my "use the random stuff you bought" effort. I knew I wanted to make this wreath, but I also knew Moose would probably make That Face if I made another wreath for us to put in our already over flowing storage.

Deco mesh, ribbon, and additions all purchased from JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores last year during their "We're trying to clear the shelves for Back To School Stuff" sale.

There is a TON of horrible wire work on the back of this I covered it with tiny pieces of foam sheet so that the auction winner wouldn't get poked every time they tried to handle it.

This is really cool! And I did check, there's also patterns for walker and wheelchair accessories.

Wait... Do other people not do this? Is this not typical? DO I HAVE ADHD?

I am 100% the person who buys the cards. I am also 100% NOT the person who actually sends the cards.

I will never get tired of these.

I've typed this out for a few friends, so I figured I'd share it someplace a little more public.

For kiddos and breastfeeding mothers, tea with honey is just as effective as any of the "safe" cough syrups available at the store.

You'll want something with marshmallow root and licorice to soothe the cough and ginger or peppermint if you've got a sour stomach from sniffing back drainage. There are lots of great tea blends available which contain these herbs, just check the ingredients.

If the cough might be allergy related, you'll want local honey, but any honey will do for non-allergy coughs. I mostly do a single spoonful per cup. Be generous, particularly if you're like me and hate licorice root.

The oil from lemon skin are antiseptic, which helps with a sore throat. Plain lemon juice isn't nearly as effective, but if it's all you have, toss a little in.

And for the non-breastfeeding adults out there? A shot of brandy or rum can also be an effective antiseptic. :D

Throwback Thursday! This beauty came together on a long drive to one of my favorite cities, New Orleans! This is from my phase of creating spiral circles and bead clusters with wire. Pieces like this led to a lot of feedback that made me want to move away from my signature chains and focus on creating just centerpieces.

Throwback Thursday! Remember Regretsy? I saw these pink quartz lilies at a gem and jewelry show and knew I had to make something worthy of that fabulous pile of trash. Thus, the Ladies Lilies collection was born. No one bought any of them but they sure made a heck of a conversation starter.
