Caffé Capri
Caffe' Capri, established 1995 by Rami Cerone, TAMU class of '95. Affordable & creative Italian.
While the boss is away, the staff is making some great dishes and picture opportunities. This is our Twisted Affair dish - chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes with fusilli pasta in a feta cream sauce. Shown with our freshly baked bread, balsamic olive oil dip and our Italian Margarita
Our upstairs party room has been booking fast these days. Keep us in mind for your next group event. We make it easy.
Thankfully, the weather seems to have cleared up so we will be open normal tonight from 5-8pm. Let us do the cooking tonight
We always want to keep our staff safe, so we will be closed today lunch and if weather passes through as expected, we should be open this evening at 5pm.
Have family in town? Looking for something to do? Come downtown tonight for First Friday. We open at 5. Cold AC, smiling face and great pasta
We will reopen at 5pm Friday just in time for First Friday in downtown
If you are wondering where I’ve been all summer, here is the reason. And while I’m at home with my newborn, my other daughter has been learning the ropes at Capri.

Each and every meal at Caffe’ Capri
Another staff inspired creation. Our tortellini with spinach added and lemon, thyme and basil cream
Yum we love when employees make their own pic. Today, Adrienne is having our Pesto Ravioli, a raspberry Italian cream soda and our fresh backed bread with olive oil balsamic dip
One of our most popular lunch sandwiches: The Julius Caesar. Grilled chicken, our lemon lime Caesar dressing, mozzarella cheese on our rosemary focaccia bread. I’m hungry just looking at it.
Another one of our best sellers is our hand sliced and breaded Eggplant Parmigiana. Baked with marinara and mozzarella cheese over spaghetti in a creamy pesto sauce. Delicious
And here is another reason to come in. Our key west pasta (spinach, lemon thyme basil cream, mushrooms and penne pasta) with our fresh baked bread, a cosmo and our olive oil balsamic dip
250 steps. Less than 1 block. That is how far this always empty parking lot sits from our front door. Thankfully, we have been busier than ever in the past year and I’m thankful for that. However, many people in the past few weeks are asking me the same question: ‘how are you doing with the parking downtown.’ My answer is always this: It’s been the same for the past 29 years and we have been just fine.
Downtown is a destination spot and a fun place to stroll. One can’t always expect to get a spot in front of your favorite place. But if you are able to walk a minute or two, there are spots to park. Today, just now, at 12:45, I walked outside to count the steps to that parking lot (on 23rd street - we are on 24th). While I was counting my steps, I also counted open spots on my way to the parking lot. There were 21 open.
We are beyond thankful to have a great business and loyal customers. Dinner - we are the only restaurant on our block so there are no issues with usually parking right in front. Lunchtime may take you a few steps or a block - hardly reason not to visit and support your favorite local shops and restaurants. KBTX Media
Tonight’s version of when someone says ‘surprise me’
We even make gluten free look delicious
To give our staff a few days of rest, we will close Monday and Tuesday of Spring Break. The rest of the week we will be open normal hours. Thank you all.
Great lunch spot after voting
Great candid pic tonight taken by my sweet friend ❤️
Beautiful dish tonight. Our skinny Italian - this one was with no mushrooms but they added spaghetti. Healthy, light and delicious
Special this week. Tortelloni with prosciutto, pepperoni, tomatoes, smoked Gouda and Parmesan cheeses
Anyone following us knows I love great online reviews. What I like even better though are hand-written notes. Thank you Christina for the sweet words and gesture
This felt good to hear this weekend. We love getting positive accolades on our restaurant
Don’t let the rain keep you away - come enjoy an evening with us and pasta
Roads seem clear so we will open this evening at 5. We have created just the dish for this cold weather. Tortelloni (big tortellini) stuffed with ricotta sautéed with cherry tomatoes, pepperoni, bacon and a touch of marinara sprinkled with Parmesan. This one is delicious.
It’s icy and freezing today so we are going to keep our staff safe and stay closed. Be safe and warm everyone.
Gluten free? Not a problem. Here is a delicious plate we just made - gluten free pasta, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, smoked Gouda, sausage and pepperoni in a coconut cream baked with mozzarella
Happy to celebrate holidays from other cultures with our fun staff. Today, is Dia de los Reyes Magos and we ate a great traditional bread. February 2nd, I’ll be learning how to cook tamales since I got the baby Jesus in the cake 😉
