Many of you are aware that my life went topsy-turvy last month. Because of this, I've had to take a step back from birth work and focus on my family. It was an incredibly hard decision for me to make, and I'm heartbroken that I won't be seeing a birthing room for the foreseeable future but it's what's best for my family, at this time.
My Doula partner, Leah, isn't going anywhere, though, and is still taking Birth and Postpartum Clients well into 2024. I highly recommend her!
I'll continue to back her up and do placenta encapsulation services, though, so I won't be vanishing from the birth world.

Go for that walk. No, I'm serious. Get outside and breathe the fresh air and allow nature to soothe you. All my clients know I encourage daily walks for exercise, but there is just something special for both your brain and body when you do it outside.

There really is something about utilizing water during labor. Between showers and tubs, there is no limit to the ways you can use it to help during those contractions.
