Back to work. My first project was this rare and valuable Bruce Onobrakpreya. He is a Nigerian printmaker, painter and sculptor. He has exhibited at the Tate Modern in London, the National Museum of African Art of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and the Malmö Konsthall in Malmö, Sweden. The National Gallery of Modern Art, Lagos has an exhibit of colourful abstract canvases by Onobrakpeya and his works can be found at the Virtual Museum of Modern Nigerian Art, although no exhibitions were showing as of October 2017.

Fine woodworking, ski racks and wood burnings by Alberto and my mother paints on found wood. These all make wonderful Christmas gifts. They are all handmade, one of a kind and locally made!

Guest pet today! Kenai the most mystical dog ever. She is 16 and still remains wild and free! A true mountain beast and our friend! She is embarking on a journey north to Alaska! Her people have decided she must visit the peninsula she was named after!

Super ornate frame, such a work of art on its own.

Amazing frame project! Widespread poster framed in a purple suede mat with filet inlay and teal inner mat. This really turned out lovely!

This was a first in my framing career. This project came in from a client who wants to honor his late brother. The snowboard was his brothers and the photos are the two of them. The task at hand was to split the snowboard in half and attach to each side of the frame. Thanks to my husband who has experience splitting snowboards this project all came together here at the shop. The hardest part was figuring out how to attach the board to the frame. It was a bit of a task but it all worked out!!! I have blurred the photos for my clients privacy.

Old Silk Weaving framed with bamboo frame and an ornate silver filet. I had to stitch around the entire boarder to get a smooth finish in the silk, this also had museum glass for ultimate clarity.
