A little backstory for you, when I was in massage school in 2022 I noticed I had a black mole on my back, I'm covered in freckles and moles so it wasn't anything unordinary. I had noticed it in the middle of my back by my shoulders and started to pay attention to it. One of my massage friends mentioned to me that she noticed her outside of very dark spot and it was getting darker, we took a picture of it started to track it and sure enough it did get darker. I was already seeing a dermatologist regularly, so when I went in I had them take a look...she told me it didn't look like it was anything but they were going to take it off and do a biopsy just in case. Turns out I had melanoma, I had to go back and get a big slice in my back cut out, sit out of massage for 6 weeks. I genuinely thought I was invincible to until that one time it was me, wear your sunscreen people! Aaaaand get your skin checked at least once a year 🙏❤️
