Pretty neat idea!!

It’s easy to see a pantry and think about donating, mean to donate….get lost in the everyday hustle and forget…

But sometimes, the need isn’t an empty kitchen cupboard…or a meal before payday…sometimes it’s a last resort….

No kitchen.….no cupboard….no silverware or plates….just the hope that someone came to donate. 💚

This is also a great time to remind droppers how helpful pull tab cans are. Dinner was much easier to eat then dessert!

This has been a tough winter and it is super important that the doors are pushed shut firmly for the latch to engage. We have also been trying to leave bags in the pantry for shopper use, feel free to help yourself to one!

This week, South Buffalo said good bye to a community staple.
Buz and Bee has been a Seneca St. landmark. You’d be hard pressed to find a S. Buffalo resident that didn’t have a memory of the store.
After 40 years of serving our neighborhood, they gave back one more time. In a HUGE way.

Today, we received a donation that has me in tears. I’m completely humbled and proud and overwhelmed....but not surprised...
This, this is South Buffalo. We hold each other up, thru the easy times, and the times of change. This is what we do.

While we begin to sort and stock our shelves, we look forward to watching the buz and bee brand change and restock there’s. This is a reminder of why we shop local. Why we support small businesses. And how, in return, they support us.

Sometimes the worst moments in your life can give you the opportunity to see the best in others💚🍀

Just a friendly reminder:
We are a pantry (cleaning products, pet food, ect.)

Perishable (frozen and refrigerated items), clothes, shoes and such are not able to be accepted

There are many many great drop off locations for clothing and a few pantry locations that have refrigerators in them!!!

It’s a terrible waste when things are left out in the elements and go to waste

One of the best things that has come out of running this little free pantry is the love and pride that so many have grown to have for it!!!

This pantry is cared for and taken care of by so many, most I never get to see or know.

The excitement and joy that it brings is just amazing.

The Easter bunny and his amazing friends have been hard at work getting ready for tomorrow!!!! We will be here from 11-1230 for pictures and to pass out candy!!
