Today, we hosted our first group session of the Spring 4-Week Couples Bootcamp! We dove deep into goal alignment, communication and trust. We had fruitful discussions, hands on activities, and ofcourse tools to strengthen our couples’ connections. Some key takeaways: 🔅we won’t ever be in alignment if we’re not working together towards the same goal 🔅 we must first acknowledge our feelings to effectively communicate them to our partner &🔅embrace the change process especially when it’s uncomfortable.
May is and in reflecting on the horrific white supremacist attack of 5/14 occurring just two years ago in the City Of Buffalo, we are grateful to be included in the conversation of healing and breaking the stigma of mental health by U.S. Congressman Tim Kennedy and Buffalo Common Councilwoman of Buffalo Masten District Zeneta B. Everhart featured on WUFO radio.
Also, we were joined by Ms Valerie Cray, who with her son, created the Unity sculpture that honors the ten lives taken.
Thank you again for including us in this crucial community conversation.
Thank you to the Bar Association of Erie for having us participate in the minority business vendor fair alongside this important community conversation!
No one can fill a mother's shoes, but a village of love can provide comfort and guidance in her physical absence. Thank you for including us!
We’ve got tshirts!! $15 we have them on hand right now 2pm-6pm at 680 Swan St Buffalo, NY 14210
& Ofcourse you can contact us to get them another time
Thank you to Buffalo Black Caucus for allowing us to participate and table! The workshops and discussions were very informative and needed
