Join us October 2nd (a week from today!) at Canisius University for an evening with the authors of CREATING READING RAINBOW! Doors open at 4:00pm, with program to begin at 4:30pm. The event will consist of a talk and Q&A to be followed by book signing. As usual, one of our staff members will be present to sell books! This event is free and open to the public, and we can’t wait to see you there!

In just one week from today, Western New York Land Conservancy will be hosting conservation journalist Ben Goldfarb, and we can't wait to see you there! Goldfarb's first book, Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter, was a breakout sensation in 2019. His second book, Crossings: How Road Ecology is Shaping the Future of Our Planet, is a critically-acclaimed study of how roads have fragmented and transformed habitats around the globe. Crossings' message reinforces the habitat restoration and permanent land protection work of the Land Conservancy here in WNY.
This event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged.

Join us in welcoming Daniel Campo to Duende at Silo City for a reading from his new book, Postindustrial DIY! This book chronicles grassroots efforts to recover, rebuild, and enjoy architecturally iconic but economically obsolete places in the American Rust Belt. Silo City is the subject of one of the five chapter-length explorations in the book and Buffalo's Central Terminal is also featured!
