Happy RAVE Week! This week is an opportunity to open up conversation about mental health and well-being. Check out our Instagram stories this week for “Maslow’s Mini-Lessons” to learn about physical and mental health. There will be relaxing BASE times and events in the LLC all week!

It’s Gameday! Head over to the Main Gym to watch the Bison take on Edina. Theme is Bison Pride. See ‘s post for more info.

Here are some details for the Bison Ball on January 28th! Please DM us with any other questions. Posters with the QR code to the song request form, donation requirements, and presale will be up in the hallways next week.

BHS students, if you are 18, the time has come to vote. It is important that we participate in the political process to help create the future we want to see. This is your chance to make your voice heard, so don’t forget to vote on this upcoming Tuesday, Nov. 8th.

Our feature department for the month of September is Special Education. This amazing team does so much to support our students. We appreciate you and thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Arrive by 8:30am at the Rock for pictures!
Start walking to the school at exactly 8:46
Walk through the hallways to the senior staircase and file up onto the stairs
At 8:50 your bleacher captains will lead you in our Bison cheers
Head to class by 9:00

Hey Seniors! The senior class shirts for class color day are available to order through the link in our bio! The store will close on September 11th and the shirts will be distributed during your first block on September 20th. We hope you’ll participate in this longstanding tradition to celebrate our last Homecoming Week!

Our BHS Student Council had a great time this morning attending the spring EMASC conference at Sturges Park. We spent the morning learning about bounce back strategies, cleaning up downtown Buffalo, and meeting new friends from other councils. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Congratulations to the BHS Student Council members who attended the MAHS-MASC State Conference in St. Cloud this past weekend. A special congratulations to the MASC Scholarship award winner, Libby Krinke, to Sydney Rhodes, a member at large on the 2021-2022 MASC Board, and to Erica Kyllonen who was elected MAHS Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year!

RAVE week 2022 is here! We started the week off strong today with a focus on healthy boundaries. Tuesday will focus on social anxiety, Wednesday will have a focus on depression, Thursday will emphasize empathy and resilience, and Friday is all about agency and action. The hope for the week is to elevate mental health awareness in our community and to support the Buffalo Strong organization and ideas. During lunches this week, there are flower sales dedicated to local first responder groups. There will also be opportunities to write cards to different community members during lunches. In the library during BASE time Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, there will be different de-stress activities offered, including the option to set up an appointment with a therapy dog. Make sure to dress up in your Buffalo Strong purple on Wednesday, as Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary of the Allina Clinic shooting. There will also be cookies and flowers sold at evening events in support of Buffalo Strong, so be sure to attend sporting and art events!

Join us in the LLC for MLK celebrations next week! Sign up for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday BASE in for speech listening, coloring, and different MLK activities. We hope to see you there!
