First responders answered the call of duty on 9/11, without hesitation or concerns for the dangers they might face.
Now, 23 years later, many have been diagnosed with cancers linked with the toxic conditions they encountered.
As of July 2021, we’re proud to be part of the World Trade Center Health Program, providing first responders the cancer care they need, closer to home. No one should have to fight cancer alone, and this change ensures our heroes can stay near their loved ones while receiving top-notch treatment.

This past weekend, Transplant & Cellular Therapy survivors were invited to celebrate their journey with other survivors and the TCT clinical team. 🎉
The day kicked off with check-in and live music 🎶, followed by a catered lunch 🥗, featuring remarks from Roswell Park's President and CEO, Dr. Candace Johnson, and Dr. Shernan Holtan, Chief of the Blood Marrow Transplantation Section.

🚗✨ From custom blue cars to custom suits, Charles Chandler has always embraced his passions. But it's his commitment to health that truly drives him.
Inspired by his family's history and love for cars, Charles became a regular at the Cruisin' for a Cure car show at Roswell Park. It was here he realized the importance of early prostate cancer detection—an awareness that hit close to home with his own surprising diagnosis.
Now cancer-free, Charles uses his platform to encourage other men to prioritize their health and erase the stigma around prostate cancer testing. "I had to look out for me," he says. "Now I want to help others do the same."
