Don’t assume that your loved ones don’t want to talk about life insurance. Now is the perfect time to discuss your family’s future with your loved ones and an insurance professional.
We believe everyone should be able to get life insurance - that's where flexible coverage comes in. We offer term life insurance that bends to your needs.
I got a call today from someone who was a potential client. The voice on the phone was frantic and tearful. I had spoken to her and her husband in September. They were clear with me that they had plenty of coverage through his job. I explained, as I do with everyone, that if you lose the job for some reason you will not continue to have life insurance through the job. They understood and said everything was good.
Fast forward about 6 weeks to the end of October; the husband is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He hasn't been able to work. Treatments are expensive on top of what health insurance covers.
It's been 3 and a half months now. Treatment isn't working. They're hemorrhaging money. There is no life insurance.
She remembers talking to me. So she calls to see what I can do... now. The simple answer of fact is: nothing. Insurance is risk based. Life insurance will not sign on to cover someone who is already terminal. She is devastated. Honestly, I'm devastated. There is nothing anyone can do, now. If they had said yes in September, this would look different. But they thought everything was fine. It wasn't. It's not.
I know no one wants to think it will happen to them. No one wants to face or think about death and dying in terms of money, but it's reality. I don't just sell life insurance to make money (even though I gotta eat too) I sell it to help people not lose everything or to at least be able to bury their loved one with dignity without worry of cost. I sell it because no one should have to feel what that wife feels this morning. Please consider what your plans are if everything does not go according to the plan you currently have laid out or you have no plan at all. I'm here to help.
As you are making changes to your health insurance during this time of year and closing out your yearly financials, consider taking a look at your life insurance situation. Do you have enough to cover your funeral expenses? Do you desire to leave enough for your family to cover other costs or have time to not be worried about working while they grieve? Would you like for your mortgage or other debts to be paid off if you are no longer there to cover them?
No one really likes to think about these sensitive matters but if the last two years have taught me anything it's that life is short, can truly change unexpectedly, and that it's better to make an uncomfortable decision now than it is to be unprepared later. If any of these questions lead you to realize you need to revisit your current or possibly non-existent life insurance policy please give me a call or text so that we can talk about your options.

Truth!
Life Insurance awareness month is in next month.
We may not like to think about it, but anything can happen to us. If you were no longer alive, what would your family’s financial future look like? Ensure your loved ones’ financial peace of mind by getting life insurance.
So true!
My family's story: Covid-19 took the life of my father. My family was NOT prepared. We had nothing to cover his funeral. The average funeral cost is $8000. Trust me, that is not a lie. FYI, that's just the funeral home expense. I already sold life insurance, but the company I worked for at the time didn't sell a product that could help my family. A simple final expense policy would have saved us a lot of money and stress. That's when I knew I needed to make a change in order to help a more broad base of clients, including my own mother. Final expense insurance is a cost effective way of protecting your family during a time when money shouldn't have to add insult to injury. We learned the hard way; in the middle of one of the worst things to ever happen to our family, we ended up having to fret over the cost of the much unexpected funeral. Our lesson has been this: pay a little now or pay a lot later. Don't think you can wait; we did, and we were so wrong. We're not promised tomorrow. Please do not just wait until some other time. A solution is just a phone call or email away. My name is Jeff Roebuck and I am here to help.
Michael, 32, was a fit and healthy family man. As he left to run a 10K race, he kissed his wife, Traci, good-bye along with newborn Calvin and “big” sister Josie. He never made it home.
As he crossed the finish line, Michael collapsed and died. The Kovacic family would never be the same.
Thankfully, they had life insurance. Even though the young couple had been living paycheck to paycheck, their insurance professional had convinced them to buy an affordable policy.
Traci says the hardest part for her was knowing that the love of her life was never coming home. “But the reality is that everything else stayed the same,” she says. “The paychecks stopped immediately, but I still had to keep the lights on, buy food, pay the mortgage and take care of the kids. Having life insurance meant I didn’t have to make any immediate decisions or sell the house.”
“The life insurance saved us—and it still does today,” she says.
"Thanks to you helping me get life insurance in place, I no longer have a knot in my stomach every time my husband leaves the house for work or his other hobbies. The constant fear of what I, a stay-at-home mom of 3, would do if he had an accident is now gone."
These are the words of a client of mine months after I set her and her husband up in one of our many products. She loves her husband deeply and would be devastated if she lost him, but at this point for her at least that fear no longer is a financial one.
Please consider letting me help you to relieve financial worries associated with an accident and/or death of your loved ones.

Don’t let your perception of cost be a barrier to you getting life insurance. According to the 2021 Insurance Barometer Study by Life Happens and LIMRA, the majority of people overestimate the true cost of life insurance by 3 times or more.
