The Book Mobile 5K has moved to the fall! We would love to have lots of Ivy Creek families participate on November 2nd at 8:00 AM! Sign up for the Fun Run ($18) or the 5K ($35.) Early-Bird Discount: If you register before August 29th, the 5K is just $30!

Are you interested in volunteering at Ivy Creek? We would love to have you join our team! You are invited to a Volunteer Interest Meeting on Tuesday, August 21st at 10:00 AM. Come learn more about the exciting events and activities we have planned for this year! There are so many ways you can get involved at a pace that works with your schedule. This meeting is for both new and experienced volunteers.

This summer our program is providing free breakfast and lunch through the Seamless Summer Operation (SSO) at select locations. Meals will be provided to anyone 18 or under at designated SSO sites from June 10-June 28 for elementary and middle schools, and June 10-July 3 for high schools. All meals must be consumed on-site.

Please note that June 19 is a school holiday, and all GCPS locations will be closed.

In addition, Gwinnett County Government will offer a Summer Meals Program. This program is a federally funded, county-administered program, where shelf-stable meals are available for curbside pickup at select locations. We celebrated two of our retirees this week... Congratulations Lisa Burkett and Becky Chappelear! These ladies have both been an integral part of our faculty for more than 17 years. Countless students and staff have benefitted from their knowledge of reading instruction and their love for children. Ivy Creek is better for the legacy they leave behind. The Spring Fling was our best event yet! It was such a joy to watch our families having fun together. The cool weather was refreshing as we played games, ran obstacle courses, slid down the giant slide,, and snacked on tasty food from the food trucks. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Book Nook - BOGO Sale!!

The Book Nook will be open tomorrow morning as students arrive from 7:45 AM - 8:12 AM. All items are Buy One Get One Free! Students may want to bring some money to do a little shopping! It's a great way to kick off Summer Reading!

Join us on Thursday, May 9th from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM for our Fine Arts Night! We'll begin the evening with our final PTA meeting of the year followed by some terrific student performances by the Ivy Creek Chorus and our Ivy Creek Dance Club. The Student Art Show will also be on display in the gym.

Ivy Creek will be hosting a Virtual DLI Parent Night for rising Kindergarteners for the 2024-25 school year on Tuesday, May 7th from 6:00-7:00 PM via Zoom. If you are interested in your child participating in our Dual Language Immersion program one parent must attend either the February 27th in-person or May 7th virtual meeting to be considered.
