It's been a while since I have been impressed by a phone camera, but here we are. Must be those stacked sensors and Hasselblad kiss. OnePlus great phone!

Started this project 3 years ago, first it was to be all about emulation and the new emergence of handheld emulators. Then Nintendo went whacko mode with attacking creators that used emulation. Well the rabbit hole got deeper and im here to tell the story.
Nintendo hates you. Nintendo has grown to be the most hostile company to its fanbase, with predatory market practices and tone-deaf reactions to the gaming community. In short, ...
Love story captures. My favorite photos are always when the couples interact in a natural way with each other and all i have to to is point in the right direction.
Been working on this one for a while. And I’ve been excited to share it. I had the opportunity to interview the app developer for Motion Cam, the first software to allow you to record film like quality Cinema DNG video on mobile phones. It’s a pretty long video so be prepared.
It’s been 8 months of silence on YouTube and I’m breaking it with a 42 minute video 😬 but this topic has been on my mind for a while, and I got to interview the incredibly talented developer Mirsad Makalic, Creator of Motion Cam, the first application allowing you to capture film quality Cinema DNG on Android. As usual I ramble a bit. But that’s where we’re at haha.

Incredible sunset flight for our 5th anniversary. It was a total surprise for Mikayla but I think she was happy with it. The flight was smooth as butter with our fantastic pilot
A little street shoot downtown Atlanta with the new 35mm Astrhori lens. I think it did it’s job pretty well!

I paid $8 to park for an hour to get this shot. 35mm f1.8 in Downtown ATL
What food do you feed a stone pigeon?
Really cool to be one of the first to try out the new AstrHori 35mm f1.8 a shockingly affordable fast lens for L-mount. It’s a manual only prime lens with no noticeable flaws. They also have a 50mm f1.8 for only $79 which is mind blowing to me. I have a feeling these lenses will soon be everywhere once they catch on.
More shots from the Fotasy 35mm f1.7
I used a film style grade, but the lens itself seems to have done most of that. The edge sharpness is non existent like I mentioned in the previous post. So much so you’d think I applied some sort of tilt shift filter on it. But creatively I think this really makes for some really wild and interesting shots.
This here be a strange lens. The Fotasy 35mm f1.7 is a measles $28 on amazon for the Apache e-mount. Pretty sure it’s some sort of rehoused security camera lens. These 2 photos are probably best case scenario, but any edge sharpness is completely nonexistent. So pretty cool creatively… but limited to just that. I’ll show more soon.
I was long overdue on updating my YouTube channel banner artwork. So 2022 gets a brand new coat of paint. I'm pretty stoked with how it came out. Have a lot of special stuff that's in the pipeline currently. I probably always say that, but this time it's already being worked on. I'm excited. YouTube is going to get more special treatment this year.
#2022
My Helios 44-2 Project has been going on for about 4 years now. When I first heard about this lens I knew I had to have it. Little did I know how much I would be using it. Labeled now as a story telling lens it truly lives up to that name by bringing life to your images while feeling like a memory or a dream. I love it. And my review is finally coming containing heaps of work I have collected with it over the past 4 years and 3 cameras used with it. I’ll go over it’s strange history involving stolen German plans and why it’s so popular now. Worth a watch when it’s out :)
Drones can fly pretty high now.
3 seconds of animation that took longer than you think but probably faster than average. I’ve been working on my video reel to show all the stuff I can do. It’s like socially acceptable bragging or something. Like hey look at all the stuff I can do. Please pay me money to do it for you now. Seriously please I’m begging you. Or something like that. What a funny industry!
Had some stuff to say. Some of you have already seen the new page and this explains a bit of the shift. It’s been needed, and will soon also follow suit on the websites as well. Laplanet Films will be where you can find all my client work and will focus more on the commercial side of the business. That makes it so much easier for businesses locally to find me and for the accursed algorithm to figure out what I actually do haha ALSO some are here just for the creative fun stuff and projects I do for YouTube and such. That will stay put on Laplanet Arts from here on out. ANd by separating the two it affords me more freedom to post without worrying if I’m sharing it in the wrong place. Thanks for being there with me for so long!
Oops I missed almost all of So here’s a little column. Should I do more columns? Btw, you should check out the new account a very talented bloke runs it and he’s been an inspiration to me in creativity as of late.

Though not massif popular in the states, I’ve enjoyed riding fiat. I spend sometimes half my day in the car so comfort is important. And comfortable they are!
Long overdue on a video on this thing. Emulators have been around for a long time, but one thing that popped up recently is these awesome little retro game handhelds. So I guess I’ll keep you updated on that one. It’ll be a video + written article.
I’ll say, LUMIX makes a fine 85mm lens. The auto focus leaves much to be desired but if you are used to manual that won’t be too much a bother. More shots from It’s been a long day, but with this GORGEOUS fall day it has been a day well spent. Not quite over, so probably more to come.
WELP since Google is a big dumb robot it deleted all my reviews. You know, the thing that tells people I'm a real business that does it's best lol no idea why it deleted them. They were all confirmed, real clients. If you find it in your heart to toss me a review if I have worked with you at some point that would be delightful!

I genuinely never know how to caption these photos. Honestly that's harder than the actual photo editing process. But if I were to caption it... I'd say I hope these 2 are just as happy as their wedding day. I hope that they handle life's curve balls as well as they did when they realized the marriage certificate was left behind when they needed to sign it. I had great memories that day so I know they did too. And I'm happy I was the guy to help capture those memories forever 😊
