I have three cuties currently available at my barn!

1. Rum- 5 year old, 14 hh sorrel gelding. Youth safe. More woah than go. Would make a good ranch or barrel prospect. Lightly started on patterns, has done 1 playday. Has a great stop!

2. Alaska- 4 year old, 14.2hh Grey mare. Super sweet and in your pocket. Could go any direction. Needs work on her right lead, but isn’t hard to get her into it if you know what you are doing. Not spooky at all, loves to jump!

3. Misty- 12 year old, 15hh sorrel mare. She has been used in a lesson program for 3+ years. More go than woah. Has been on patterns. She is very sweet and safe, but has anxiety being away from her pasture mates. Doesn’t love being tied, but doesn’t set back, just paws. Needs someone willing to put the work into her and ride her more frequently. Also, youth safe.

Searching for a youth safe young horse? Here is the mare for you! Alaska is a 4 year old grey mare who stands about 14.1 hh. She is one of the sweetest horses I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Alaska is not spooky at all, great with kids, and ready for a new partner! She is the all around horse of your dreams, finish her out in any direction, Western or English. Alaska would excel in ranch shows, or in the English jumping world. She is currently being used in a lesson program by a 12 year old girl. Stands, loads, ties. Gets along with other horses. 2. Rum (Sorrel gelding)

This little guy is so cute and ready for his new home! 5 years old, 14 hands, and youth safe! Rum does it all! He is definitely more push style and can be lazy if you let him. He is not spooky at all, ties, loads, stands for farrier. Definitely needs more handling done with his back feet, but he isn’t mean about it. Would be great for an intermediate youth rider who knows how to ride. Had been hauled to one playday before and did great! He is lightly started on the patterns, and has a super nice stop. 3. Misty (Sorrel mare)-

Misty is a beautiful 12-year-old Sorrel Mare. She stands at 15hh. Perfect for riders seeking a reliable partner. With 3 years in a lesson program, she's a seasoned companion. Trail-ready, arena ready, and not spooky, she's your go-to for outdoor adventures. Misty can walk, trot, lope on a loose rein. Definitely has more go than woah, but isn’t dangerous. Misty hauls in a trailer perfectly. She was one of my main lesson horses at my previous facility, since moving to my new barn, she has been buddy sour, and doesn’t like to be alone. She would be perfect for an intermediate/advanced rider. She is a very sweet horse, I just don’t have the time she deserves. Only minor vices: buddy sourness, manageable anxiety, and needs more time being tied. Ready to join your family and bring joy to your rides! Located in Bulverde. We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Weekend Barn Worker. This position is ideal for high school students or anyone with prior horse experience.

Responsibilities:
-Feed and care for 15 horses
-Clean pens and stalls
-Perform basic horse care tasks

Requirements:
-Some prior experience with horses preferred
-Dependable and responsible
-Physically able to handle outdoor work

I’ve rebranded BIG time and it feels so good to finally have a logo that truly represents me, and my business. What a journey it has been. The gentle cowgirl has always been a passion project of mine. My main goal for TGC has always been to help people and horses connect in a non-judgmental safe environment. Creating a space for people to build community, deal with life’s stresses, and grow in their horsemanship. 🤠

Meet Firecracker 🧨 This feisty little mare is currently on consignment with me! I have personally known this horse for over a year, and she would make a hell of a partner for a handy youth! Many of my lesson students have rode her. She is 6 years old, 13.3 hh, stout, and beautiful! Walks, trots, lopes off easily. Not hot at all. Stands, ties, loads, 100% sound. Has been hauled to many arenas and playdays. She will do the events as slow or fast as you want. Would make a perfect youth horse! Knows all the playday patterns. I think with a little push from a confident rider she could easily be clocking 16-17 second runs.
She is safe, sound, an easy keeper and really just an all around great mare. Plus she’s adorable!! Located in San Antonio, Tx. Mid X, # # #. Videos available upon request!

When it rains it’s pours. 🌧️ Not gonna lie this has been one of the most testing weeks of my life. I’m trying to keep a positive attitude as best as I can, but I really just want to crawl into bed. A conversation with my momma this morning made me realize that’s okay. It’s okay to not feel motivated 24/7…. It’s actually impossible. It’s okay to hit the pause button and take a break from it all.

Welcome to my page! 🩷🐴 I'm Morgan! Recently I've had some new followers so I thought I'd introduce myself! 👋 I currently live in San Antonio TX and I run a lesson, boarding, and training barn. My love affair with horses started when I moved to Texas 9 years ago. I got a job at a little trail riding facility and started mucking stalls and leading trail rides. That's when my addiction started.

I bought my first horse a year later (Mojo!) and started soaking up as much knowledge as I could. I ate, slept, breathed horses and I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could. The opportunity for me to start teaching lessons presented itself and I jumped in full force, and found my life calling.

Fast forward to 9 years later and I now manage a fully operational equine business! I DID IT! 🤠 I have 2 amazing employees, and my herd now consists of 7 amazing lesson horses and 7 boarded horses. I created this page to share my love of horses, my joy of teaching and sharing my passion with others, and to help inspire horse owners to create connection with their horses. Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported me since day 1, and hello to anyone new! Welcome to my journey. 🩷
