Things you didn’t know about Allison (Part III) Most of the time when I tell you all that I do aerial dancing people are like what the f**k is that?! I even have a rig in my backyard and suspend different apparatuses, which I dare say I don’t play on often enough! But here’s me on Monday on one of my favorite apparatuses, hammock, at a local spot. I’m always looking for friends to join me! I started on hoop, lyra, in 2016 and fell in love with the really creative aspect and intense workouts. Since there’s been a salon that I opened and a few babies in between, I certainly don’t dance to the same regularity - Still love it when I can get to it!

I’ve decided to give myself a 30 day challenge — posting to Instagram EVERYDAY in July! And I’m gonna start it off with a two-part introduction TO ME! Hi I’m Allison! I’m the owner of @ParlourConfessions and I want to introduce myself🙋🏼‍♀️ First off, I just don’t have it in me to post a cheesy photo of myself gently stroking my hair and gazing off into the distance… lol - so instead, here’s ME — dancing in the middle of MY salon! 💃🏻 I’ve graciously been transforming hair behind the chair SINCE 2004 (and illegally… since I was like 15 years old lol). But I’ve actually exclusively worked at only two salons before taking on this venture of Salon owner. 💇🏻‍♀️ At A Tamara Dahill Salon, I helped the owner @tamara_dahill run weekly classes for stylists. Her extensive color knowledge encouraged me to obtain an additional certification thru the American Board of Certified Haircolorists. It was there that I fell IN LOVE with helping future stylists succeed! 🙇🏼‍♀️ I was lucky to experience running a beauty college with the owner of @academyforsalonprofessionals @jilltwinone.
