Dear Clients,

The holidays are upon us unfortunately as COVID-19 numbers are also increasing in Los Angeles County. I want to share some of my personal safety precautions and measures, my plan for if I test positive, as well as some new county guidelines that go into effect as of this past week. Also, I am sharing my plan for business, if my industry goes into another shut down.

Updated Precautions and Safety Measures: Myself and Clients

• Temperature checks are now required for clients before entry into Salon Republic

• I will know be wearing a face shield along with a mask at all times during our appointment

• I get tested for COVID-19 every Tuesday to have my results by Wednesday. All of these results I am always willing to disclose at anytime before or after your appointment with me

• I have received this year's flu shot

• I will not be traveling or seeing extended family this year for any of the holidays

In the event I test positive for COVID-19

• Upon receiving a positive test results I will directly notify the previous week of clients and cancel all upcoming appointments

• I will release relevant contact information of clients I have come in contact with to the LA County Health Department for contact tracing

Contingency Plan for Shutdown Circumstance: Housecalls

• I will be offering housecalls under very limited circumstances

• I will only be doing housecalls on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between the hours of 8am-3pm excluding holidays, with a limit of two separate households per day.

• To be eligible for a housecall you must have an outdoor area where I can perform the service

• A mask must be worn throughout the entire service

• I request you do not have extended family or guests over

• If I feel it is not safe to me, I may refuse an appointment

Do you want to get tested? It's free with or without insurance. Check out curative.com for all local testing sites based on your location. I personally always use Dodger Stadium and typically receive my test results in 24-30 hours.

Tomorrow is reopening! The final touches have been put on my studio to make it safe and compliant to the new standards. There are some new rules you as the client most adhere to as well.

• There will be no more indoor waiting room space. Please wait outside or in your car and notify me with a text message that you have arrived.

• There will be no more groups allowed into the studio at one time, unless you are from the same household or are the parent or guardian of the child being serviced.

• Upon entry to the studio will be required to wash your hands and be wearing a mask. If you do not come with your own mask one will be provided to you at the cost of $2.

• If you have an incomplete client profile (full name, phone number, email) upon check out you will be required to complete your profile.

• I will need added 15 minutes per customer for disinfection and will not be taking more than 10 clients per day. Unfortunately there will be no double bookings at this time.

• Please do not come in if you are feeling unwell, awaiting the results to a Covid 19 test, come in contact someone who is ill, or come in contact has tested positive for Covid 19. Don't hesitate to reach out for or for a reschedule.

The wait is finally over! Opening is set for June 11th. I can’t thank everyone enough for the patience and care during these unprecedented times. Make your appointment today!
