One Holy Catholic and Apostolic

What is an Anglican? It’s a word meaning English, and speaks to our heritage as a Catholic Church in the English tradition. That means from England, and not Rome. Contrary to popular opinion, the English Church split from Rome, not from the Catholic Church. You may recognize our liturgy as Catholic. We hold the Catholic faith as delivered to the Saints. We are a sacramental church, meaning we believe that the sacraments are outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace, given by Christ as sure and certain means by which we receive that grace. We celebrate the Holy Mass, otherwise known as Holy Communion, Holy Eucharist, and the Lord’s supper, and receive the true Body and Blood of Christ under the appearances of bread and wine. There is much more to learn about the Catholic faith, and we invite you to contact us for more information. God bless you.
