Come watch Inside Out 2 tonight at White Oaks outside on the back field! Movie starts at 7:00 p.m. Northern Virginia Astronomy Club will be joining us for a fun star gazing activity as well. Limited concessions will be sold. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

A student favorite.... Color Wars Spirit Day! Last year Kinder took home bragging rights. Here are the colors for this year. Each student should wear their assigned color on May 24th. The grade level with the highest percentage of participation wins!

Parents, just a friendly reminder that this Friday (2/9) marks our annual Souper-bowl canned food drive. During this event, students will have the opportunity to place their canned food donations on the table representing the team they wish to support. The team that collects the most cans will emerge as the winner of the drive! Students are also encouraged to wear their favorite jersey!

Cozy Cabin Day explained......it's a crowd favorite. Students bring sheets and drape them over their tables or desks. Next, the teacher projects a crackling fire on the board, and voilà! They have a cozy cabin for reading their favorite book.

Once again we are collecting winter clothes for local families. Please donate new or gently used winter clothes from Dec. 11th– 15th. Collection bins will be placed throughout the school. Cold weather clothes only, please. Snow boots in good condition may also be donated. Thanks WOES community!

Former White Oaks Eagle, Jack Rever, completed his Eagle Project at White Oaks over the weekend. He and other scouts from Troop 698 fixed up the atrium and painted a brand new 4 square court on the blacktop!

Veterans Day is coming, and WOES would like to honor veterans and active-duty military members with our annual breakfast. This year the breakfast will be on Nov. 10th at 7:45. Please use the link below to let us know if you are able to attend. In addition, we would love to include a picture of your veteran or active-duty military member in a slideshow. Photos can be submitted through the included link. If you are a veteran or on active duty, please join us for some music, food, and camaraderie at our annual Veterans Day Breakfast! We are afraid that due to space constraints, we ask that only the veteran or active duty service member attend with their student. RSVPs and photo submissions are both due by 11/3/22.
