According to the new city declaration not much has changed at the salon, we are still requiring mask for both client and operator.

Please be sure you bring a mask with you to your appointment if possible to receive your services. If you do not have one we have some we can provide.

On June 25, 2020 Mayor Ken Shetter enacted the City of Burleson Declaration of Local Disaster and Public Health Emergency (10th Declaration and Order) that states "all commercial entities in the City of Burleson providing goods or services directly to the public must develop and implement a health and safety policy. The policy goes into effect Saturday, June 27 at 12:01 a.m.

Below is a summary of the mask requirements in the City of Burleson:

FACE COVERING REQUIRED IN ORDER TO ENTER AND REMAIN ON PREMISES. All persons over the age of ten (10), including employees, customers, visitors, invitees and contractors ("Patrons"), who enter this business must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth, such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief.

*The requirement of a face covering does not apply if covering the nose and mouth poses a significant mental or physical health risk to the individual.

*The requirement of a face covering also does not apply when an individual is consuming a food or beverage or receiving a service where the wearing of a mask would impair the performance of the service.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS. Even with the use of appropriate face coverings, individuals should maintain six feet of social distancing whenever possible.

*Employees should not work within six (6) feet of one another, except to the extent necessary to provide services.

*Patrons should maintain six (6) feet of separation from other individuals outside their household, to the extent feasible when inside the business premises.

*Patrons of the business queuing or waiting inside or on the premises of the business must maintain six (6) feet of separation from other individuals outside their household.

VIOLATIONS. Patrons who are not wearing a face covering will be asked to put one on. If the patron refuses, the business has the authority to call city enforcement officers who can issue a trespass citation, if necessary.

Here is the new normalcy for the time being! I am sorry in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. We are happy to work with all client to the best of our ability!

All clients will be required to sign a COVID-19 Consent/Release Form before receiving services. Every client/family member requires a separate release form. There is a link below to the Consent Form if you'd like to print and bring it with you or we will have blank copies available at the salon.

We will not provide services to anyone who does or has had fever, cough, sneezing, or any symptom that could put ourselves or clients health at risk. The salon holds the right to refuse services to anyone who we believe to be sick. Right now, nothing is too careful.

If you have been in contact with any confirmed or possible cases of COVID-19 you MUST reschedule your appointment. You will be rescheduled 14 days from when are notified. So be sure you let your beauty professional know ASAP.

Please do not come early for your confirmed appointment. If you do arrive early, wait in your car until the allotted appointment time. Please text or call your beauty professional to confirm you have arrived, they will then notify when they are ready for you to come in and meet you at the door! If you do not have their phone number handy, it will be on the door to the salon.

Upon entrance temperatures will be taken. Masks are required. I know masks can be uncomfortable and annoying but this is a salon wide rule and for everyone’s safety.

All clients will be asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when they arrive. There will be a strict no touch policy (other then to complete the service), specifically no hand shaking, no hugging.

Per state guidelines we are allowed only one client per stylist at this time. We ask no unnecessary plus one’s or children. Only those who are receiving services and one care giver if necessary. If your child is receiving a service then only the child and one parent are allowed in the building at a time per stylist, this is to insure we stay with in our state occupancy guidelines for the time being.

The salon will not have a waiting area at this time!

Thank you all for your understanding and patience. We are all VERY excited to get back in the salon. These precautions are just that, precautionary for your safety and ours. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to reach out to ask your questions!! Hopefully, we will be back to our old routines in no time. We can’t wait to see your beautiful faces!!

Hello ladies,

We’re so excited we’re able to return to the salon!!! You’re personal stylist and aesthetician will be reaching out to you soon to notify you and get you scheduled. Our salon will be back up and running this upcoming week, Tuesday May 12th.

We will be posting all salon guidelines promptly Monday afternoon, please be on the look out for that. You’re salon appointments will have a little bit of a new “normal” for a little while once we are back.

I feel for each one of our clients. The ones who extension need touch ups, color needing to be touch up, hair that needs to be trimmed, fresh manicures, facials and don’t forget the pedicures to get ready for the spring. We all miss you very much. We are hoping to be back to work soon. Hang in there, everything can be fixed. Hope everyone is doing ok.

In case you were wondering! Is it safe to come in for a service at La Vue Day Salon during these uncertain times?

We wanted to get in touch to reassure you, all the usual and extra measures we are taking right now for your health and ours. While honoring the advice of our government leaders and CDC that is recommended... we are taking careful measures making sure we follow all suggested sanitation guidelines provided by TDLR as well as the CDC. We are currently monitoring the situation closely and daily!

At the moment, we’re operating business as usual and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment. But as a community, we have to ask some things of you, to help keep everyone safe during the next 8 weeks.

•Please don't arrive early(or late) for your scheduled appointment. We understand you can't always judge what time you will pull in the parking lot, however if you are early please wait in your car until your scheduled appointment time.

•We are asking that you don't bring any extra guests with you as we are following the guidelines suggested for the amount of people in the establishment. Unless it is a care giver, please be respectful and come by yourself. This helps insure your health as well as the other guest.

•Other then rendering services. We have implemented a No-Touch Policy, which includes NO shaking hands and NO hugging to minimize the contact for more sanitary conditions.

•Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking everyone coming to the salon for their appointment to also wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.

•We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well and have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled from the worst affected Covid-19 areas or any other sick people.

•If you are showing any of the following signs or have been around anyone with any of the following symptoms please RESCHEDULE your appointment.
-Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties.

•We strongly recommend NOT RISKING everyone’s health just for your salon needs. We will be happy to accommodate any and all last minute rescheduling, but of course please try to give as much notice as you can.

If or when the time comes that we need to take additional extra measures, we will do so in the most responsible way as advised by the right authorities.

In the meantime, we’re here for you and your beauty needs. We appreciate all the loyalty and reaching out during these trying times. As long as we all do our part, we will get through this together.
