🔥❤️ Quick story: The Torchy’s folks were ready to go in the parade tonight but… when another float had their vehicle go dead, the employees of Torchy’s used their vehicle to help the other parade float get started. When they did, the Torchy truck lights went dead and they were unable to drive in the parade. Can we get a shout out to them and their team. Go by and grab a taco and queso and talk them up. Send a note to corporate. These leaders are what is great about our community!

8400, 56, 37, 2.5, 1 - by the numbers.
With the Burleson Midday Rotary club’s gift of $8400 through a matching district grant from Rotary International, 56 volunteers made Saturday Nov. 18 into construction day where 37 beds were built from raw wood to frames in 2.5 hours ready for kids in our community to spend their holiday this year in their very own bed through Sleep in Heavenly Peace. I’d say that makes for 1 amazing community effort.
Thank you to everyone that supports Burleson Rotary Clubs, sleep in heavenly peace, that gave their time and made something really special happen this weekend. May we see many more opportunities to serve.
