June is infertility awareness month.

For many of you this topic is near and dear. What you may not know is how closely this has affected the women of our office. There are at least 4 individuals within our office that have undergone fertility treatments. Our personal and professional experience with this delicate topic is something we take very seriously. While enduring your fertility journey know you have our full support and understanding as we have been there!

With summer approaching it’s important to remember to take care of your skin! Sun can be very damaging and lead to aging of the skin and melanoma. Wear sunscreen to help prevent multiple skin complications!

May is preeclampsia awareness month.

All women need to know the risk factors for developing high blood pressure during pregnancy - and that you can also have no risk factors, but still may develop it. Attending your regular appointments is important as we will check for signs of that may not have obvious symptoms, like protein in your urine.

Talk to us about your risks, concerns, and what you can do to reduce your risk.

Summer is here and we are all excited to jump in the pool! With many people being around kiddos we want to share some safety tips to keep your kids safe this summer.

- keep a protective barrier up around your pool
- never leave your children unattended in the pool/lake/ocean
- wear bright colors

Endometriosis

March helps to shine a light on endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to that of the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterine cavity.

Symptoms can include:
- painful periods
- infertility
- painful in*******se
- pelvic pain & bloating

Treatment is aimed at controlling symptoms and the spread of the abnormal tissue. This can include NSAIDs (ibuprofen), birth control, or surgical options.
