It all starts with wanting something better for you and your family. Be the chain breaker. Book your Life Mentoring Session today.
We can step into being our best advocate every morning, noon or night!!! Catch the down spiral, make a shift. You are doing great đ«¶đ«¶đ«¶
Itâs the little things đ€
There is always enough time to take a step forward into a dream. We are never too old, too young, too anything!!! Take a breath & take a step.
Having a coach, or as I like to call myself, a life mentor is like having a sounding board. I believe that you have all of the answers within. Yoga Therapy uses your body to connect back to the most inward places of you. Watch, because new opportunities to experience group sessions will be coming soon!
Never stop growing. Never stop changing. When we step into self awareness, self acceptance and self love we begin to see what has been in the way of our happiness, our growth, and our dreams.
PS: DM if you want me to keep you on my list of available spots.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
I am reading a new book and wow, this quote!!!! What is standing in the way of who you really are? Can you step into your life authentically? If your heart is pounding, welcome to the club. Try taking a micro actionâŠa tiny step forward. Nothing too big. Look for progress over perfection.
Not too long ago I had an âuncomfortableâ interaction with a friend. You, know, the kind of conversation that leaves your mind spinning and a pit in your stomach. What came to mind was pure nakedness. Lol. Emotional nakedness. I could see that something was in her way. And, just like a director panning a scene in a movie, there was a reflection. I told myself, âWhat you see is in her way, is also in yours.â Like a slap in the face I was standing nose to nose with my own judgment. Youch!!! This interaction just affirmed that I need to work on myself more. If I am seeing something in someone else, they are seeing something in me. (Could I hear someone say, âRude!â) It is the truth, though. We can only start with ourselves. If something uncomfortable is showing up in your life, it might be a sign to dig deeper or look closer into yourself. Take charge of your own energy. Take charge of your own pain. Take charge of your own life. This is the hard work of courage. If you need help in sorting this outâŠIâd love to welcome you to a space where you can do just that.
Always dream big!!!
Feeling tolerable discomfort during a yoga stretch is a key I use to coaching the unlocking of suppressed emotions in my clients.
In my personal yoga session that I had today with my yoga therapist, I layed on the floor for a while shaking, my teeth chattering as I allowed emotions to bubble up in me.
Having a trained guide is an important first step to this kind of work. It can take you to a deep place, where with the right guide, can take you through to the other side.
Today I realized that I allow the opinions of society to pressure me. When my body finished releasing the grip this pressure had on me, I sat up. A vision of a cold snowstorm with wind blowing all around me came flooding in. The dark, cold, outside storm represented that pressure I feel.
What I realized as I sat on my mat, was that that pressureâŠit will always be there. And in this vision, I was inside looking out from a window. I was warm, safe and could see the churning of the storm outside, but I stayed unaffected.
In turn, I realized that I must make time for me, during this season in my life. To stay focused on people, not opinion. To smile. To live. To love.
It takes a brave soul to step into the waters of emotion, but like cool water to parched lipsâŠit has the ability to refresh the soul and put life back into perspectiveđŠ
Last night I had the opportunity to speak for the second time at Lynn Crain Portraitâs Sweet SoirĂ©e. All of the speakers encouraged women to take care of their precious selves as we navigate through the choppy waters of life. My message? Take 3 breathes. Get grounded. Feel your body in this present moment. Life is lived in the right here, right now.
The Writerâs Way, by Julia Cameron has been a game changer in my life. Easy to implement. When we write, we can see what we are thinking. This new perspective changes us. We can filter through to what is truly bothering us, or to what is really in the way. Definitely a book I recommend for any age, at any point in life.

The enneagram is the personality test I use in my coaching. Why? Because you get to decide who you are. We cannot change WHO we are, just HOW we do things. And, if we donât KNOW who we are, we get stuck. I am a type 3W2 and for me to say, âI am not okay,â or âI need your help,â is very difficult. I practice here, too. What number are you?
After I write 3 pages of random thoughts every morning, my brain gets crazy active!!! In my closet, on the door of my water heater (I love feng shui) I am compiling my creative energies. Itâs fun, and I can stack, remove or let marinate. What is one of your morning routines?
Who you invite into your inner circle is important. Itâs not a place for everyone. If you are practicing being vulnerable or understanding your human nature, choose wisely. Not everyone will show up as your advocate. Not everyone is ready to hear your story. And thatâs okay. It doesnât mean we canât have fun and visit. Itâs all about setting ourselves up for success. Share the big stuff with those you trust and guide you back to what you think, not to what they think you should do.
Many people have asked me what Yoga Therapy is. What I am learning and creating a practice of is not physical therapy. Yoga Therapy is a process of embodiment and discovery of what is happening in the present moment.
Funny thing is, that no one can tell you how you feel, but often times we ourselves donât know how we feel. Quite the circle. This process, developed by Michael Lee from Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, puts the keys back in your own hands so you can decipher your direction.
I will guide you from a place of non-judgment, so you might get to a place where you can hear yourself once again and therefore step into wise actionâŠa place that creates positive movement forward.
As a current R500YT and a Yoga Therapy student, I am currently enrolling clients (in person or on line) who want to experience this process at half price. These sessions are for individuals who would like to connect with themselves at a deeper level. Let me know if you would like more information or would like to book an appointment.

Dive Deep into Growth đ±Invest in You
''I think midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear:
Iâm not screwing around. Itâs time. All of this pretending and performing â these coping mechanisms that youâve developed to protect yourself from feeling inadequate and getting hurt â has to go.
Your armor is preventing you from growing into your gifts. I understand that you needed these protections when you were small. I understand that you believed your armor could help you secure all of the things you needed to feel worthy of love and belonging, but youâre still searching and youâre more lost than ever.
Time is growing short. There are unexplored adventures ahead of you. You canât live the rest of your life worried about what other people think. You were born worthy of love and belonging. Courage and daring are coursing through you. You were made to live and love with your whole heart. Itâs time to show up and be seen.''
