About the play:
This is a world premiere production! We conducted video interviews to inform the playwright's storytelling! The show is truly for the community and by the community! Today, Burlington island is full of wildlife and there are even two eagle’s nests on the Island! There is an aquifer fed lake with natural spring water. Many people are committed to preserving the natural state!
The premise of the play is that some school age kids are doing a cleanup of the island when they encounter the spirit of the island (personified) and are transported through time to different eras of the island!
Additional workshops will include time with the playwright, a wildlife refuge visit and stage combat!
