If you've been a customer of ours, you probably recognize this Rhino! Dale creates and commercializes our products, working with customers on requests and presenting on-site to them.

Prior to joining our Technical Services team, Dale (a classically trained chef!) had years of experience with multinational and national companies, was the 76th culinary professional to become a Certified Research Chef by the Research Chefs Association, and was a chef/owner of his own restaurant.

We got lucky enough to bring him over on our side years ago, and we can't imagine it any other way!

The 2024 Rhino Annual Family Picnic was an egg-cellent smashing success! Rooney stepped up and came dressed for egg battle while Ted dutifully hollered into the horn, and we had two winning egg toss duos rise to the top! 🥚

We're always looking for creative ways to do better. When we decided we wanted to cut down on our paper usage, "Second Side Notebooks" were one of our ideas for making the most of the paper we still needed to use. We collect pages that are blank on one side from the copier, put them in these notebooks, and continue to refill them as needed. It's a small change, but it adds up!

Our cheesiest tradition--Grilled Cheese Days! As a thank you to our team, our leadership team makes grilled cheese sandwiches for each of the three shifts a couple of times a year. Depending on the shift, this means grilled cheese for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's small, it's silly, but it puts a smile on our faces!

Our Quality Assurance Manager is truly the kind of teammate every employer "hopes" for! We've been lucky to call University of Vermont graduate Hope Simpson a Rhino for twelve years now, and you can usually find her mentoring the QA team, problem solving operational setbacks, supporting continual improvement efforts, creating training presentations, collaborating on test plans, and, most importantly, taste-testing our products.
