Inspired by the metaphor of hiking, this faith-based teaching invites participants to explore profound parallels between traversing the rugged trails of life and navigating the twists and turns of the spiritual battle in our minds.

And we have the best hiking guide available, the Holy Spirit, who we can trust will show us the path we need to take to get out of our valleys and take us up higher where we can better “see” His plans for us to reach the mountaintop.

Many agree that this is the most important election in the history of our nation!

Some who share our concerns have a hands-on ability to ensure the integrity of our elections, but many of us do not. For those of us who don’t, a two-fold weapon we can all immediately deploy against the enemy is fasting with prayer.

The combination of fasting and prayer has long been a powerful tool of God’s people to stifle and turn back the powers of darkness. History records victory after victory as God’s people fasted and prayed. We believe He will do it again!

To every dad and father figure reading this, Happy Father's Day!

In the Scriptures, we see the heart of Father God for His children (Israel) displayed time and time again. He provides for them, chases after them, admonishes them, disciplines them, forgives them, encourages them, blesses them, and restores them.

You, too, have a similar calling, to reflect the heart of Father God to your children and those around you as a father figure. Your heart is to raise them up strong and healthy in mind, body, and spirit so they will in turn transform their generation and future generations with the love of Christ.

The love of a father is powerful. When your kids need you, you're there. Every diaper changed, every bear hug given, every night time story read, every emergency phone call taken, and word of advice given. It's significant.

In the consistency of your presence, the grace you give in love, the teaching moments - you mirror the love of the Father.

For those of us who haven't received love from our earthly fathers in the way we needed, Father God wants to bring healing and restore what has been broken. And if you are unsure how to be the father you want to be, our heavenly Father is very able to teach you to be a Godly father. As you seek Him first, He will show you how to impact your circle of influence by demonstrating His love and wisdom. He loves to set us free! Remember, Jesus died for you to live an abundant life.
