Happy Tail:
It’s hard to find homes for older animals. A lot of people are nervous about taking on the responsibility of an older pet. One fine lady stepped up to adopt this 7 year old cat named Willow. Her original owner went into assisted living with no relatives to take her. Her new owner says Willow waits for her at the front door to come home and follows her everywhere. We are so happy for Willow and her new person. We hope they have many more happy years ahead of them.

This girl is looking for a new home. Below is the write up from her owner. She has some needs but surely there is a retirement home out there for her and her sweet face. Call Katie at 828-206-3469 if you could possibly offer her a place.

"Hello, I need some help finding a new home for my dog. I saw on your website you can do a Facebook post to maybe help find her a new family. This might be difficult, she's an older dog and she's not great around kids. She gets nervous but isn't aggressive. Although I wouldn't recommend her being in a home with very small children, mainly because she is clumsy and large.

She's also female dog aggressive and hates cats... so basically a single person or a couple with no other pets would be ideal.

I'm moving but I'm also currently pregnant and have a 10 month old who is trying to learn to walk and it's making me nervous her being around him.

Her name is Olive. She's 10 years old next month. Her parents were Rottweiler and boxer. She's getting old but she's a good dog. I hope this works."
