Recently RK Power Generator Corp, FPT Industrial's distributor in Puerto Rico, signed off on the N67 Tier 4 Final for the usage of their generators in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. RK POWER generators are designed for residential, commercial and industrial segments.

Frequent Flyer, a 36'x13'ft twin-jet dive-harvest vessel, works across Alaska and Washington State. It dives year-round, harvesting sea cucumbers, geoducks, and sea urchins. The vessel often operates in high current conditions, sometimes with multiple divers in the water simultaneously.

To help guarantee the reliable power needed for both safety and speed, owner Blake Herr made the decision to repower the boat with twin FPT N67 530Mhp engines. “This was a major upgrade in all categories from our previous engines,” he states. “I went with FPT because of their reputation in the Bristol Bay area of Alaska, where they came highly recommended by several jet boat captains. FPT and our distributor,Kraft Power, work together on industrial power units (IPUs) for MGL Engineering Inc. Powered by FPT’s C13 engines, the IPUs power MGL’s designs for conveyors, crushers, and other industrial applications.

Load Lifter produces rough terrain forklifts which are used in construction, mining, agriculture, lumber, and other industrial business. As emission standards for Tier 4 Final were introduced in North America, Load Lifter began searching for engines to meet the new standard. Dave Tughan, Operations Manager at Load Lifter, met FPT North America at the ARA 2020 show and would later transition to FPT engines.

At Pacific Marine Expo, FPT Industrial introduced the new C90 410 EPA Tier 3 commercial marine engine with EPA Tier 3 Commercial and IMO2 C ratings. Expanding on existing D-type rated engines for heavy-duty applications, this best-in-class C-type rated engine provides 410 hp (301 kW) at 2000 rpm. The highest power and torque density come together with a specific fuel consumption of 214 g/kWh to deliver an efficient and highly productive engine available to the market. Today at Pacific Marine Expo, FPT Industrial reveals the all new C90 650E 605 EPA Tier 3 marine propulsion engine. The introduction of this EPA Tier 3 Commercial – IMO2 B1-rated model means the line-up of light-duty engines now extends to 605 hp (445 kW) at 2530 rpm, up from 580 hp. This performance equates to best-in-class power for light-duty EPA tier 3 commercial applications in the 9-liter displacement range. Stop by booth 1239 to learn more.

FPT’s N45 99kW engines are used to power Laborde Products, Inc.'s dredging generators which are used for the removal of sediment and debris at the bottom of bodies of water. Laborde Products supplies diesel engines, diesel-powered equipment, service and support of the marine and industrial markets.

Nate Davis, Owner of Davis Diesel, gutted his own 35' Scopinich vessel, “Nuts N Bolts,” and was in the market to upgrade. His choice of an engine was an easy one - he upgraded to FPT’s N67 550, which is best in class for low torque power, compact design and high fuel efficiency.
