Special Needs Consortium

We exist to provide a place where all services and opportunities can be shared to support families and individuals.

The Special Needs Consortium was formed in 2018 with the mission of working together to increase the awareness of resources available to the special needs community through networking, promotion and advocacy.

We are now accepting applications for our free Inclusive Yoga Club this fall for students K-5. Our goal is to create enriching spaces for youth with and without disabilities to connect and grow together outside of school. Please help spread the word in your community!

Campers will participate in an engaging yoga class, play imaginative games intended to promote mindful social interactions, and make crafts they can use to help support a mindfulness practice at home. This is a smaller group setting with no more than 12 campers, and is located in our yoga studio in Lawrenceville. Our staff is trained at making this program accessible for students and we welcome anyone interested to apply with the link in our bio!

Image Description:
Open Up students and Education Leads Erin and Chandler sit on the studio floor, smiling after a fun and engaging yoga session. They hold up the Open Up Emotion cards, where the students share how they are feeling during our mindful check-ins. The flyer highlights that this free Yoga Club is open to K-5 students and promotes mindful social interactions through yoga, games, and crafts.
