Good Morning! Well, it is late summer here at our flower farm. This will be my last AUGUST farmer's market. I am starting to cut back, replant and grow for early fall flowers. Today I will have ten (10) bouquets of late summer flowers...dahlias, zinnias, wildflowers, celosia, artemesia, wildgrasses, basils, lemon grass and bits and bobs...these are warm arrangements that have a hint of summer and of the fall to come.

Stop by our booth and pick one...I hear they last almost two weeks....and thank you for supporting our flower farm.....all summer!

I am so sorry Flatwood Flower Farm missed Kids Day at the Downtown Calhoun Farmer’s Market. We were out of town but will be back tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30th!

Ricney Farms - cantaloupe, peaches, watermelon, tomatoes and more!

Little Lemon Ladies - Cinnamon Toast Crunch, raspberry white chocolate, and orange almond baked goods! Fresh flowers and of course, ice-cold lemonade!

Come see your neighbors and stock up for this weekend's festivities (homemade peach ice cream, anyone?) tomorrow at City Park from 8:00AM-12:00PM!

I picked bunches of Flowering To***co ‘Grandiflora’, Nicotiana alata to go in our market bouquets for this week's Downtown Calhoun Farmer's tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25. They were grown from Floret Flower Farm seeds that wintered over and are now flourishing! These fragrant flowers are stunning.

Stop by between 8a and 12n and pickup one of our bouquets and fill your home with it's beautiful jasmine-like scent.

We are excited to start the You Pick season this Saturday! You can visit the flower field for fresh, local flowers Monday - Saturday; 9 am to 7 pm. Closed Sunday.

It has been a thrill to offer our farm’s flower bouquets in Rise ‘N Shine’s CSA boxes for the past couple of months. I hope you enjoyed our arrangements where we are on a mission to “transform the meaning of a beautiful bouquet”! You can also catch us on Tuesday mornings at the Calhoun Farmer’s Market in downtown Calhoun at the City Park!

Coming up this summer we will add foraged wildflowers, cotton stalks with blooms, sorghum tassels -- if the deer don't eat them all, more basil varieties than I can name, a plant called Shoo Fly!, the beautiful scent of Mountain Mint, and more surprising "bits and bobs"..…everything is grown organically, sustainably and without any pesticides….the earth is good on our farm!
…..we are growing naturally in northwest georrgia….

My flower friends said that I need to put my image in posts about our flower farm.
So, here I am, farming Black land in Georgia.

We are celebrating Juneteenth today with a special on Dahlia bouquets! Our flower arrangements feature the celebratory colors of red, yellow and green that bring the joyful remembrance of freedom.

Our farm is flush with amazing blooms and they just keep coming! Order today and pick up your bouquet at our farm in Curryville, or at Floret and Fromage in downtown Calhoun!

The uPick lavender party resumes on Tuesday, June 11th at 10 am and continues until June 22nd. The season is brief and beautiful and over quickly until the following year. We hope you can make it up Lookout Mountain (where temps are cooler) to visit us before June 22.

We are continuing to feature the Clumpies signature ice cream flavor, Blueberry Lookout Lavender as well as Cheiman Tea’s fabulous lemonade and lavender chai drinks!
