captain paul watson has been one of my heroes since he started greenpeace after swimming in front of a s***m whale and placing himself as a human shield right before three harpoons were fired, risking his own life to save the pilot whale to starting one of the most IMPORTANT organizations GREENPEACE and SEA SHEPHERD.

there are still 3 countries - norway, iceland, japan - and the faroe islands that are still whaling, and continuing to do beyond BARBARIC things to these beings that are smarter and more compassionate than most humans on earth. i will do anything i can to continue speaking against whaling.

is behind the atrocities happening in the FAROE ISLANDS, an average of 1,100 dolphins, including pilot whales, are deliberately slaughtered each year in faroe Islands, a country just 200 miles off the coast of the UK. the grindadrap, the name for this killing, has no fixed season or dates — a grindadráp can be called at anytime of year and there's no limit on how many animals may be killed per annum.

the faroes is a modern society, with supermarkets, shopping malls and a high standard of living. the killing continues in the name of tradition despite the hunts of today using powerboats and jet skis. culture and tradition can never be an excuse for cruelty.

This still remains an unforgettable memory 🥰🥰, we spent 6 days with this incredible baby calf while his mother underneath trusted us while she slept. she would come up to breathe every 15-20 min and towards the end of our journey with them she decided to play as well. which is not normal for a mother to play when nursing. i’d like to believe that maybe there is a fragment of truth that she really enjoyed our company and needed some fun too. anyone that knows me knows that i have deep love for whales and dolphins. i’d travel anywhere to be with them even for a minute of their time. this trip was by far my most meaningful yet. 6 days of mom and baby and at times their es**rt (whale sitter) who ended up warming up to us eventually. we respect these beings tremendously. being so close to them you understand their unspoken immeasurable love and grace. their intelligence. our ascendant masters. so much to learn from them. months ahead to digest our telepathic connection. their eyeballs penetrating your soul in places insi

This is Pamplemousse (Pomelo / grapefruit). We spend so much time with this whale we had to name it. Over thr course of the season, we got to know and spend almost 25 hours this specific whale. Can you make friends with a whale? I know I did. 💙🐋
