Pause🌼 Life feels a little painful yesterday and today, considering current events, and at the same time I can’t help but have gratitude for these teachers and how well they love and teach your precious children (all teachers I know and appreciate😪). I’m so grateful for their efforts and hearts. They are wonderful humans and we’re so privileged to be in the positions that we are to care for your littles. I hope you’ll join me in prayer and good thoughts for the Texas families and friends of those babies and staff 🤍🙏🏽 All we can do is our best. Our hope is that we can pour ourselves out to serve these littles well, hearts full, setting them up for success to then go out and serve others also, with helping and kind hands. These teachers and children make life a little brighter and full of hope and I’m thankful for that today.

We introduced “Respectful Rhino” in my classroom today 🦏☀️

Respectful Rhino visits kids who:
🦏 Follow directions the first time
🦏 Listen when others are talking
🦏 Raise their hand before they speak so everyone gets a turn
🦏 Help a friend in need ❤️

We teach and use the word “respect” often in each of our classrooms. It is incredibly magical when a toddler uses their own voice to share “that friend is not respecting my words” 🤯 Just wow 🥰👏🏽

Exciting news around here this week are the very hungry caterpillars in each of our classrooms 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 Naturally, we have taken on the roll of a lepidopterist 🦋🤓 and are studying the life cycle of a butterfly 🐛 ➡️ 🦋
