Camarillo Physical Therapy is excited to be hosting another Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminar this March. The course will be taking place on March 11th and 12th and the subject of the course is Motor Control Strategies to Maximize Rehabilitation and Function.

Physical Therapy For Babies With Torticollis / Wry neck
Some of my favorite patients to treat are babies! Some babies are born with tightness in their neck muscles on one side which keeps their head turned and/ or tilted to one side. This can have implications in how the baby develops and can cause asymmetry. This brings about changes in shape of the head as the baby tends to put more pressure on one side of the head.
We are successfully treating torticollis with myofascial release, positioning techniques and stretching /strengthening exercises for age appropriate development of different movements. This is a completely treatable condition and our therapists are here to assist you! ๐ฅฐ

Physical Therapy Treatment for Plantar Fasciitis Pain
I am constantly amazed by the number of patients I see through the years that believe the only treatment available for their plantar fasciitis is orthotics in footwear. Physical therapy has so much to offer for patients suffering from this particular condition. Stretching exercises, soft tissue, and joint mobilization techniques all work really well. With an appropriate assessment of the condition by one of our skilled PTโs, you can get rid of plantar fasciitis pain!
