There is a great and growing need in Ventura County, the work is not done!
Each week ACTION VC receives dozens of requests to our Needs of the Week and Accessibility programs. This season presents us with the opportunity to continue achieving our mission to connect volunteers and reach our community. For the time being, ACTION VC moves forward as a solely volunteer run organization.
In order, to continue making an impact and bringing renewed hope, I ask you to prayerfully consider making an additional donation today. Your continued generosity enables our programs to continue operations, providing joy to a child at Christmas, restoring freedom to the immobile and assuring the safety of the elderly here in Ventura County.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support of ACTION VC, both financially and volunteering. On behalf of all of us at ACTION VC, we wish you a blessed summer and say thank you for taking action with us today.

A group of volunteers from Newbury Park First Christian Church joined our Accessibility for All team last weekend to complete an Adopt-a-Ramp project for one of our clients. Delia is in her 70’s and has diabetes, which affects her balance. She was previously unable to bring her walker into the house because she could not get it up the front steps. Thanks to these very helpful hands, Delia can now safely and securely access her home with confidence. “It is wonderful! It’s fantastic!” she said. Thanks to our dedicated team led by Bob Broughton and for serving with such compassion and generosity. We are so grateful!

Meet Judy, one of our wonderful clients, standing on her newly redone staircase. Judy has health conditions that affect her mobility. Her previous steps were not up to code or secure enough. Thanks to our Accessibility for All team, she has a stable handrail and stairs that safely support her as she exits her home. We couldn’t care for neighbors like Judy without your partnership and generosity. Thank you for being a part of what we accomplish in Ventura County!
