As the year comes to an end, so does our Fall 2022 Co-op cycle. With the current Co-op cycle coming to a close, we continued a cherished tradition of gathering together as a company to listen to their final presentations and learn about their projects, followed by a celebration. The Interdepartmental Bonds Group (IDBG) held a career panel where four Jounce panelists shared stories, information, passion, and inspiration about their career paths to biotech. The IDBG hosts initiatives like this to increase visibility, strengthen bonds, and enrich empowerment between departments.
Recently we held a companywide Science Day, where we learned how each of our teams work together from research and discovery through clinical development to generate drug candidates to fight cancer. Not only was it educational, but we had a lot of fun reconnecting with each other throughout the day!
Last weekend Jouncers participated in our 7th Jimmy Fund Walk after several months of working together to raise funds through delicious in office bake sales and an amazing silent auction and raffle! We are so grateful for our company culture that supports great teamwork and patients in the fight against cancer!

This is Jounce Therapeutics' 7th year participating in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk! In alignment with our focus on Patients, we have opted to allocate our funds to the Patient and Family Assistance Fund. This program helps to ease the burden of a cancer diagnosis by providing financial assistance to families in need. One of many ways we raise money is through hosting bake sale events like this one!
We had an amazing Jounce Day of Service on August 9th, where more than 100 of our employees contributed 236 hours of their time to support 5 organizations across our communities! Thank you to Life Science Cares Boston for helping to coordinate this important day of community service. We ended our day with a Jounce Luau Party, which gave us all the chance to connect and share our experiences from the day.
Fun is one of our Jounce Core Values and we sure know how to have a lot of it! It was an awesome day for a Jounce BBQ with great food, terrific weather, exceptional company, and a few furry friends

We are proud of Lauren Badalucco and her efforts with Friendship Works, a Boston-based nonprofit reducing elder isolation by matching volunteers with older adults. WCVB Channel 5 did a feature story on Lauren and her friend, 89 year-old Cambridge resident, Nancy Clark Dodson. Jounce supports our employees and their volunteer work!

Some of the steps we take to invest in our planet include a waste management program to separate compostables and recyclables from other trash to reduce waste, water dispenser to reduce plastic bottle usage, and our office lights and energy efficient computers automatically shut off or go to sleep during periods of non-activity to conserve electricity.
