It was a great day! We meet so many friendly folks and got some great photos AND ate some amazing pizza .

Hereβs a very quick post:
We did a lot today, including
A lesson on shutter speed and f-stop from Marissa.
We got to photo four wonderful models in the studio
and all got oriented to our cameras.
Mark blabbered on for a while about I donβt remember what.

We travelled to Union Square to photo educator Sybylla Smithβs studio.

Revere Beach yesterday
If youβve been a TPW teen then you know that Revere Beach is one of our staples.
I went yesterday morning and though it was pretty quiet, almost everyone I met was open to being photod AND
Andrew (pic 2) did a good job at capturing me as a beached whale.

Dear friends, we hope everyone has been able to stay safe and healthy. Weβve missed you.
After our yearlong hiatus, TPW is BACK!!! Weβre sooo excited to share with yβall TPW 2.0: the Digital COVID-Conscious Edition! As much as we love film, weβve had to make some adjustments in order to accommodate COVID safety protocols, which means 15 campers in a small darkroom just wonβt be possible this year. So, we are going fully digital! But, unfortunately, we have to limit the class size, and thus, there will be more of an application process for these summer sessions.
Otherwise, itβll be the same olβ TPW, just with more masks and more social distancing!

My daughter, Nellie sings the poem, The Song of Wandering Aengus by W. B. Yeats, to our friend Trish, who was in hospice and died a couple of weeks later.
Trish faced death with the same exuberance that she faced life. It sounds corny but youβll see what I mean.
Also, thank you to the amazing , whoβs version of this song Nellie was trying to emulate.
