Does it get more New England than the Longtrail Brewing Co. x Ski The East collaboration IPA? Not sure, but here it is available for the masses! This limited edition IPA with two of New England’s very own hits you with a “knee-deep dose of citrus, pine and tropical fruit hops to deliver a brew for those who want to keep the shred alive” per their description and as a shop we’d have to agree with that. Cheers! 🍻🏂⛷

Here’s an awesome German bier that just hit our shelves! Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier "Helles Märzen" - this beer starts out as normal Helles Schlenkerla Lager and matures for months in the old rock cellars underneath the brewery. Just before filling it is blended using the "Kräusen" technique with classic Märzen Rauchbier. The result is an unfiltered, bottom fermented and amber color Märzen Lager hybrid with a vibrant and slightly smoky flavor. Cheers! 🍻

Founded by Pierre Tilquin in early 2009, Gueuzerie Tilquin is a blendery in Bierghes, a borough of Rebecq located approximately 30 kilometers south-west of Brussels. Tilquin is the only lambic blendery in the mainly French-speaking, southern region of Wallonia. It opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2011. Here are some of their awesome beers that we have in stock!

- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Stout Rullquin" Lambic Ale, a mixed fermentation, the Stout Rullquin is obtained from a blending of 7/8 of Rulles Brune (Stout de Gaume) and 1/8 of a blend of 1 year old lambics, which has matured for 8 months on oak barrels. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented for 6 months in the bottle.
- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Quetsche Tilquin à L'Ancienne" Lambic with a minimum of 200 grams of plums added per liter.
-Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Gueuze Tilquin à L'Ancienne" Lambic, a gueuze blended from Boon, Lindemans, Girardin, and Cantillon lambic. It is typically comprised of 50% one-year old lambic, 30% two-year old lambic, and 20% three-year old lambic.
- Gueuzerie Tilquin "Oude Mûre Tilquin à l'Ancienne" Lambic with 260 grams of blackberries added per liter.

Cheers! 🍻

Here are our wines of the week! For those who might not know, we select a few wines each week to be discounted 10% off and give them a little write up in our newsletter! This week is Whistler Vineyards, located in the most northern and western part of the Sonoma Coast, an area known for great Pinot Noirs. Flowers and Hirsch, for instance, are in that region, with bottle prices ranging up to over $100. Whistler Vineyards has a geology and micro-climate that allows dry-farming, contributing to
the complexity, flavor intensity and pronounced minerality of their wines. We have been lucky to secure a small lot of the rare
2015 Whistler Vineyard and 2016 Picus clonal and block
selection. This post features their
'17 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,
'17 Estate Pinot Noir,
'15 Estate Pinot Noir,
'16 'Picus' Pinot Noir.
