This bathroom remodel is in an older home in Brookline. The clients hired our team to modernize their teenagers' bathroom. The end result is an efficient space with a large shower, loads of storage in the double vanity, and a modern, self-flushing toilet.

This gorgeous Brookline home needed a new porch. Our clients hired the WK team to rebuild it using traditional materials (mahogany wood), while simultaneously modernizing it for today's lifestyle, by adding recessed lighting, a motion sensor, and a video doorbell.

We usually work on older homes, and we are experienced in designing and building to make the transition from the original aspects of a home to the remodeled parts as seamless as possible.

Team member Dave has been with Wendel Klein for a while now. He brings decades of experience to the team, and we are fortunate to be partnering with him on our clients' renovation projects. He has two adult children, and one grandchild to keep him busy when he's not on a job site.

Sometimes a house we repair looks nearly identical to how it appeared before we were hired. In the case of this beautiful home, we were hired to replace rotten pieces of wood and repaint areas as needed. We call this type of project 'Rot Repair.' It's not sexy, and people don't like to spend money on this type of work, but in the long run, it is worth it to maintain the integrity of your home (especially if it's as gorgeous as this one!).

It is an honor to announce that we have Matt Pelrine working as part of the Wendel Klein team (finally!). He is an all-around nice guy as well as being a skilled carpenter. He has experience working in exhibitions at The Boston Children's Museum and running his own carpentry business. We are grateful he has joined us in improving the homes of our clients.

Introducing Charlie. He is the newest member of the Wendel Klein carpentry team. He is a skilled carpenter who has a great sense of personal style to boot. He has a great attitude and is a wonderful addition to the team.

Measure twice, cut once

Meet Frank. He joined the Wendel Klein carpentry team a while back. He lives on the North Shore and has experience running his own carpentry business. We are grateful for his expertise!

Creating an appliance garage is a great way to clean up a kitchen. It keeps common small appliances such as microwaves and coffee makers hidden away, but immediately available. The LED strip downlighting is on a switch so that when the cabinet doors are opened the lighting turns on.

Our clients love to entertain, and try out unique mixed drinks. One of the wish list items for their kitchen was built-in shelves for their liquor collection. The downlighting in the shelves is conveniently controlled through an app on their phones.

Check out this stunning kitchen transformation in Somerville near the high school. We took the space from builder grade with designer furniture to fully custom with designer furniture. The clients have phenomenal taste and along with Louise Smith Designs, we updated their space that reflected their personal style. Mayor Wu just announced an expansion of Bostons public vocational high school. Some question whether this is a good idea, but we are supportive. Hopefully the new programming will help produce more skilled workers for the future.
