I fear this page doesn't have long before its suspended. FB has done nothing at all about the fact that *they* allowed it to be hijacked. Be forewarned: it looks like the geniuses at Meta gave people a back door to take over professional pages, verified or not.

The system automatically converted towards the end of last year or the beginning of this year to the "new Facebook experience"; anyone who was an admin apparently can lock out the owner by taking control of everything--which is a new remarkably absurd feature
It appears someone hacked a former administrators account, and because of the brilliant new changes to Meta they were able to take over my business management account . This of course was not the case in the past.
If you look up their changes, they crow about what a great feature it is. This is so you can handover the reins to someone else. Strange that it didn't occur to them you shouldn't be able to handover control of everything, like page ownership. And certainly not without checking with verified the owner/creator of the page.

Dear Facebook: I have a verified fan page that I've curated since 2015. How on earth can it take more than a few minutes to revert control back to me when there's no way on earth anyone could have proven that they were Craig Malkin to take over the page? What exactly is the point of verification?

Here are the names on the email accounts that made themselves owners of this *verified* page. I even have dual notification on. No excuse for this
