Today is our annual Holiday meal and, members, we’d love to see you. Come by 12-4pm today for a homecooked meal, gift cards, new Winter clothes and accessories!
Thanks to Katharine for cooking for days to keep our members fed, and to Community Cooks for providing delicious side dishes for our big meal!
We’ll be playing games all day and will be making our gingerbread houses a little later!
Our holiday meal is TOMORROW from 12-4pm! It's open to current members and former members who have aged out, and you're welcome to bring your kids too!
We've been cooking up a storm and have a great menu ready for you including roast chicken thighs, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, collard greens, mac & cheese, stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, and more. This meal is also being supported by our wonderful team at Community Cooks, bringing us home cooked food for the holidays!

Come support youth experiencing housing insecurity and buy unique gifts for your friends, family, community workers, neighbors, and educators!
Members price and sell their art and all of the money goes directly into their hands. There will be paintings, written poetry, baked goods, floral bouquets, upcycled clothing, essential oil sprays and more for sale.
All that AND a talent show too! You don't want to miss this!

Youth On Fire members! We're having a WILDLIFE DAY! TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 18 from 12-1:30pm! The New England Wildlife Center is coming to Youth On Fire with some really cool animals! You'll get to meet them, learn about them, and learn more about wildlife rehabilitation.

Allston-based artist Katiana Rodriguez is coming to Youth On Fire to talk about community, identity, art, and self-portraiture, and you'll get a chance to paint a self-portrait too! It's going to be a great workshop, and we're so thrilled to have Katiana join us. Members, interested in top surgery but don't know how to get started?
We have staff onsite who have been through it and can walk you through the process, provide support and advice, and refer you to LGBTQIA+ competent medical care! There's a ton of information out there- let us help you navigate through it.
Groups like Q***r Coffee Hour is also a great resource to connect with young folks who may share similar experiences. Our next one is August 31st!

Members, it's raining out but we have ponchos, dry socks, umbrellas, and sneakers in the drop-in, so come by and dry off.
We will also be having a board game tournament and art making from 2-5pm, so come through!
YOUTH ON FIRE COMMUNITY! We're having an Art & Talent Show at the end of the month on Tuesday, August 29 from 6-9pm! Our members will be selling their art and performing, and all money they make from sales and performances will go directly to them.
Come spend a night in our space, support unhoused youth in your community, eat some yummy snacks, be entertained, and see some great art! We'd love to have you!

There's a new public bathroom in the Boston Commons open from 7am-9pm!
A public restroom trailer, with separate stalls and sinks, cleaned every four hours, for men, women, and an ADA restroom, is installed on Boston Common, available daily from 7AM to 9PM through the fall with a security person on-site during hours of operation.

Make an appointment to work one-on-one with staff and we'll support you in navigating services, applying for MassHealth and benefits, resume-building and job search, and can also provide referrals for shelters, legal help, healthcare, immigration assistance, LGBTQIA+ support and more.
