IXL Center - Center for Innovation, Excellence and Leadership in collaboration with the Miami Herbert Business School finalized the Innovation Olympics program this week. Ten diverse teams worked intensively to solve two bold challenges posed by distinguished clients such as Miami ports and Royal Caribbean Group.
In 8 weeks, 43 students used Global Innovation Management Institute - GIM Institute framework and came up with more than 50 business concepts and 10 business cases to solve challenges such as:
- How to double the volume of businesses for the port and the airport of Miami within five years
- What is the value proposition the customers will demand from a cruise throughout its entire life in service
Insightful reports shedding light into the future of the transport, hospitality & entertainment sector were produced.
University of Miami Herbert Business School is offering Innovation Olympics as a capstone project, part of the Experiential Learning Department.
