Lydia Tourtellote is a New England based fine artist living in "the Quiet Corner” of Connecticut specializing in painting, drawing and mixed media. In 2020, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Suffolk University in Boston and currently teach in the visual arts department at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Connecticut. I am a freelance artist and have been taking commissions since 2014. Here on my website, you can purchase Giclée fine art prints and original works. I will take custom requests for specific works, print sizes, and paper type.

New month means a new cocktail for a good cause! This month we’ll be serving the Goin’ Bananas with Bacardi Spiced Rum, Banana Liqueur, cream of coconut, lemon & a hint of vanilla. A portion of proceeds go to the Science Club for Girls, empowering young women from underrepresented communities to pursue a career in STEM! Come try one, for science! 👩‍🔬

We’ve still got slider fever here, so we put some Surf & Turf sliders on the menu for the weekend! Beef patty, shrimp, cheddar, sliced pickles & our seriously special sauce on mini brioche buns with parmesan truffle fries- come and get em! 🍔🍤🤤

Our featured artist is DaNice D Marshall!

DaNice D Marshall (duh-NYSE, she/her) is a writer and narrative-based artist. After writing for decades, she transitioned to art when a serious vascular disease subsequently led to hearing loss. Despite these challenges, she triumphs and finds her voice through painting. In addition to showcasing her work on a digital billboard in Boston’s theater district, DaNice’s work has been exhibited in venues, such as the NIU Art Museum, DeKalb, IL; Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Boston; Piano Craft Gallery, Boston; and the New Art Trio, Newton, MA. Her work is featured in Naomi, a television series that aired on The CW Network and streaming on HBOMax.

DaNice lives with her husband, Ben, and their dog, Tigger outside of Boston.
