A whole new slew of e-bikes from some of our favorite brands have just arrived! We’ve expanded our selection to include some rad new options from and that will expand the possibilities of what’s doable for a commuter bike. Options like the Benno Boost and RemiDemi allow cargo hauling capabilities as well native Yepp seat integration for the kiddos and feature Bosch Performance Line motors with class 3 assistance. The Cannondale Mavaro 3 takes the commuter bike to the next level with a .bicycle belt and Shimano internal gear to boot to keep maintenance to a minimum with a class 1 Bosch Active Line motor. On the other hand, the Adventure Neo Allroad Speed is the most accessible option we have and the only hub drive at the moment too but still with a solid track record. The Marin Sausalito E1 is a long time favorite of ours and features a Shimano STEPS E5000 motor and a class 1 assist as well. We’re stoked to offer a nice, wide variety so if you’ve been on the hunt for a reliable, safe e-bike for getting around, check out some of our new options and give me a spin!

Today is for Angie! Her Pinarello was stolen a few years back and she’s been using Bluebikes since then, but she was ready to try again with none other than the Zig Zag. A few small additions like some double-sided pedals, a , and last but not least the monstera reflector (since Angie is admittedly monstera-obsessed) and she’s ready to roll. Enjoy, Angie and thanks for coming by!

As y’all might know, there’s not many left in the world so come on through and get em while you can! We have a few left in stock but can order sizes for a little while longer, so get in touch!

We’re now offering some of our most popular Renegade S4 for rentals, so if you or a buddy need a rig to ride while visiting or if you just want to see what the deal is with all-road/gravel bikes, then look no further! These are stellar bikes and offer an excellent balance of speed and comfort over roads, gravel roads, and/or dirt to help keep you feeling confident. We outfit them with two bottle cages, grippy flat pedals, and a lock but we can install your own pedals and computer mounts if you bring them with you. Renting is very easy through our website and it allows you to reserve bikes for the dates and times you need them for in advance as opposed to just walking-in. The rental tab is included in our link in bio. Get in touch if you have any specific questions about the rental process!

got a badass new and we built up these mighty fine wheels for it! Yes, we build up carbon wheels too!!!! Jonah brought in the elusive and super nice hubs and we laced them up to those deeeep carbon (or ca**ón?) rims. But dang, this bike is nuts! A vehicle as simple as a track bike can still showcase so many incredible details.

As always, if you want some nice, strong, or nice and strong wheels built up, give us a holler!

We just refreshed the M.U.S.A wing of the display case with some fresh pieces from including every color of their new “Klamper” top caps, the perfect dressing for your boxcar stem, or maybe the inspiration you needed to put some more Paul on your bike this Summer!

If any of y’all need anymore cargo and hydration options before , we got you covered! A nice restock has landed and includes Manythings, Minithings, lowering, flat top, Iris, and regular cages so come and get em! As always, these made-in-the-US cages are the best around and we still haven’t found a better option for carrying water or gear.

Attn: Swift Campers! The routes are live and you can find both in our link in bio! Please download them onto your phone or computers in advance!!

The longer ride will head out at 11am-ish on Saturday, so get to the shop earlier if you need any last minute ride supplies (like an extra bottle cage, stem caddy, tube, etc). There’s ample rest stops and two grocery store options on the way so you can pack lighter food-wise.

The multi-modal route will leave from the shop at around 11:45 and head over to Porter to hop on the commuter rail which leaves at 12:25, but you can feel free to just meet up at Porter too! There will be a second group that takes a later train from Porter at 2:25, so if you wanna ride at a quicker pace but less distance, that could be for you!

On Sunday, we’ll ride out of camp as one group at 9:15 and split up at the train stop for those who don’t wanna do the whole 53 mi back.

There will be some opportunities to swim during the ride and at camp if y’all wanna bring some bathing suits. We’ll also be riding and camping rain or shine, so be prepared! Please reach out with any other questions!

Big drop of new reflections from Kyle based in Oakland!
We have a bunch of the V2 mini triangles, some of the larger ones as well as the amazing Monstera reflector. We have a feeling that these will not be here for long so grab ‘em while you can!

We recently had the pleasure of assembling Hugo’s beautiful stainless gravel bike! We consulted on the build and did the final assembly and Hugo supplied the gorgeous (and sharply detailed!) frameset. This thing should be the perfect combination of light, fast, and comfortable so it’s gonna be ready for many miles of adventure. Thanks Hugo and hope you’re enjoying the rig on your tour! We love building functional AND fast bikes like this too, so if you’ve a sweet project in mind and need some help, just hit us up!

Better late than never to formally announce our annual ride and campout! The date is next weekend, Sat June 22nd to Sun June 23rd. The destination this year will be Pearl Hill State Park in Townsend, MA! It’s gonna be a bigger ride than past years, totaling about 52 miles one way. We’re gonna depart from the shop at 11 AM on the 22nd for that ride. Additionally we’re gonna have a second, shorter multi-modal ride that’ll incorporate the commuter rail for those who wanna chill a bit more that’ll total about 22 miles. Like always, this is a self-supported event and you will be responsible for taking care of your needs on the bike and at camp, so make sure your bike and summer camping set-up is tight. The rides will be no-drop and chill and good vibes are mandatory! We’ve also reserved four campsites at Pearl Hill, but we recommend reserving a site if you can as space will tight since we’re gonna have a good-sized group. DM us for more info and expect some specific rollout times in the coming days!

Here is Diego with his sweeeet Fuji Suncrest restomod that we just wrapped up! Some nice new rubber, a modern drivetrain, fresh contact points, and this thing feels like new! We’ve said it again and we’ll say it again, we love fixing up and making these old frames feel fresh again! While a lot of older bike tech works fine, there’s just no denying how much better modern drivetrains work, especially a nice wide-range 1x for mixed-terrain riding, urban exploring, and even remote bike packing. Anyways, thanks for bringing this fun project in, Diego and have fun!

ICYMI, daily bike rentals are back! We stopped doing them a few years ago during the COVID bike boom when we couldn’t get any bikes. Since so many of you reach out about them, we decided to bring them back! We have some of our trusty 3-speeds available and might soon add some gravel bikes if the demand is there. We have a daily rate for these and they come with a helmet and a lock. Get in touch for more details!

Ryan’s well-loved Bombora got an update in the form of some new handlebars! The Granola is one of our favorites and should perfectly suit Ryan’s commute as well as rides through the Blue Hills. A simple change like that can make your bike feel totally new again, which can help if you’ve got that new-bike fever 😅 Anyways, this setup is simple and sweet, as it should be. Thanks Ryan and enjoy!

Come ride with us this Sunday! We’re gonna hit the trails again and all of y’all are welcome to join. Expect some Great Meadows and Lone Tree Hill action with some road in the middle. Plan to meet at 8:45 for a 9am rollout at the shop. This will be a roughly 15-20 mile ride that is no-drop and all about fun. A gravel bike, rigid mountain bike, or tracklocross bike would all be appropriate but ride what ya got! Get in touch if you have any questions beforehand. Hope to see you bright and early on Sunday!

Nick’s old Trek MTB got a big commuter 💅glow-up 💅 The first order of business was upgrading to a rigid, suspension-corrected fork for 26” wheels, which left the Barnacle Lite as the natural choice. It’s got a mean stance, the right rake and axle-to-crown, and plenty of mounts as well to help Nick carry any cargo on his commute. Next, we ended up swapping out the worn original 3x drivetrain for a no-fuss, reliable 1x. A tuff Deore 10sp rear derailleur and a ring keep everything nice and tight. We’re happy to help keep old bikes up and running, but turning them into even more functional and capable machines makes us even more stoked! Swipe to the end to see the original bike - if you’ve got something similar and wanna modernize/simplify, get at us. Thanks again Nick!

These brand new Renegade S3s are already flying out the door! This his-and-hers pair got some matching pedals, and dang do we like the blue 😍

These are some of our favorite steel allroad/gravel bikes out there since they ride oh so nicely and are jam-packed with excellent value. As of now, we just have a 51 and 56 in-stock. Check ‘em out next time if you’re looking for your next allroad/gravel bike!

Come ride with us this Sunday at 9am! We’re rolling out at 9am and looking for some casual off-road action. Most likely we will head out towards the Western Greenway but route is subject to change based on conditions. Plan on some 17-20 miles total at a just-for-fun pace.

Photos from Cambridge Bicycle's post 04/16/2024

Our last Super Pro single-speed found its new home this weekend! This is the pinnacle of steel single-speeds out there that you can also throw some gears and derailleur on, in our opinion. We also swapped in some better rubber for the road, the Gravelkings, and a sweet Manythings Cage for all the stuff you’d need to haul like a bottle of wine or a nice hoagie. We’re sad to see this go, but we’re happy it’s gonna be ridden and enjoyed! Our inventory of All-City is dwindling, but we have some stock of geared Super Pros, Gorilla Monsoons, and Zig Zags in stock so drop by if you’re looking for one of these last few!

Friday was for Javier! Jav wanted a proper tournament-ready polo whip, and so we went to work on. We built some bomber and buzzy wheels with hubs and Ailerons topped off with the fastest and lightest tire for 26” polo wheels, the Elk Pass. The braking will be handled by a unmatched four piston brake. Jav went in on all of the other details too - check out that crankset! You’ll be sure to see Jav playing on this at at Smith or Burns this season, so check it out in person. Thanks for your support Jav and have fun!

Today is for our homie !!! Chris has a gravel bike, but has wanted a more “roadie” bike for some of the longer rides he’s been doing and it just so happened that store manager Josh had this amazing US-made GT Edge cx frame in Chris’ size. So, we went to work and put together this super sweet bike using a selection of new and used parts. We’re digging the end result!
