🌟 ¡Apoya la Expansión del Centro de Salud de Refresh Bolivia! 🌟
En 2018, abrimos un centro de salud que atiende a más de 6,000 personas. La COVID-19 interrumpió nuestras operaciones, deteniendo el almacenamiento de vacunas y exacerbando condiciones preexistentes.
Nos estamos asociando con el Ministerio de Salud local y ONGs como nuestros amigos de Fundacion Nuqanchik para expandir nuestro centro, añadiendo un centro de vacunación y una farmacia para mejorar el acceso a la atención médica. Con tu ayuda, esperamos mejorar los servicios y aumentar la capacidad de atención, para eventualmente transferir el centro al control del gobierno local.

🌟 Support Refresh Bolivia's Health Center Expansion! 🌟
In 2018, we opened a health center serving 6,000+ people. COVID-19 disrupted our operations, halting vaccine storage and exacerbating pre-existing conditions.
We're teaming up with the local Ministry of Health and non-profits to expand our center, adding a vaccine center and pharmacy to improve healthcare access. With your help, we aim to enhance services and increase patient capacity, eventually transitioning the center to local government control.

Interested in publishing a viewpoint article with a peer-reviewed journal? Interested in helping run a community health center with Bolivian doctors and nurses? Interested in producing a video documentary on public health management in underserved rural communities? These are just a few of the impactful projects you can lead on our upcoming J-Term trip to Cochabamba! We will be working with our partnered community Arbieto and on-the-ground partner organization Fundación Nuqanchik to help the community with their most pressing needs! Join Refresh Bolivia for our cross-chapter event: Meet RB! Learn about an entirely student-run 501 c-3 intensional public health non-profit.
At our virtual Meet RB Event, attendees from chapters across the country will speak with Directors and Chapter Leaders of the organization as well as Advisors that are pursuing various health-related professions. Everyone will receive a newly designed Refresh Bolivia t-shirt following the program!
Work with current students from the Claremont Colleges, Harvard College, and the University of Rochester on active projects.
Refresh Bolivia is currently working on:
Maintaining a community health center in
Cochabamba
Supporting local teachers with Math, English, and
literacy instruction during the pandemic
Providing college prep resources for high school
students in Bolivia
