From Cork we'll hear from the Allow Ceili Band, Donie Carroll and Elle Marie O Dwyer for the Clare-Cork Hurling final taking place tomorrow. Moving to the Galway-Armagh Football final taking place next Sunday, we'll hear from Cherish the Ladies, Dolores Keane and Don Stiffe for Galway and Briege Murphy, Cillian Vallely and Paddy Reilly for Armagh. "The Long Grazing Acre" is a project currently underway in Ireland where Paddy Keenan, Mickey and Niamh Dunne, Eamonn De Barra and others are traveling by horse and wagon to pay tribute to their Traveller forefathers. They started in Roscommon and are making their way to Donegal with stops every night in different areas where they are sharing their music. My show will feature two live tracks sent to my by Paddy, along with recorded music from such well-known Irish Traveler musicians as The Pe**er Dunne (rip), Maggie Barry (rip), Felix Doran (rip), Finbar Furey, Mary Keenan, Mickey and Niamh Dunne, Thomas McCarthy and others. Our dear friend, Emmett Ruane, passed away on Thursday night. Emmett was a true Philadelphia Irish legend who did more than anyone to promote local Irish music in Philly at his iconic Emmett's Place Pub at Oxford and Levick Streets. Tomorrow's Philadelphia Sunday Irish Radio Show is a tribute to Emmett and will feature some of his favorite songs, along with some stories of memorable times spent with Emmett and a the pub. Joining me in the station will be Emmett's daughter, Colleen Ruane, and Luke Jardel who played at Emmett's for years and who presented Emmett with his DVIHOF award. Great concert coming on Valentine's Day!

Our next epic concert is coming up quick! Next Sunday, Feb. 14th (Valentine's Day), we'll feature 67+ performers bringing tunes from our homes to yours, in celebration of love and friendship during difficult times. Traditional, jazz, and classical music is on the program!
